Mostly-vanilla in a shared setting
Grand Hotel Life is a good collection of mostly vanilla stories, with a couple of definitely-not-vanilla exceptions. The book uses a recurring shared setting for a lot of the stories, taking place in the Grand Hotel Otori, but this is really just used to provide a thematic backdrop. The individual stories don't really have anything to do with one another, even though there is a nice little end roll sequence included with little cameos from all the characters in the book.
Almost all the stories are fairly vanilla stuff, but there's two stories that are definitely not which stand out. One of them is a cheating story about a post-fight one night stand, and the other is a female VIP who likes to use the male hotel staff for sex. There's nothing wrong with the stories but they really stand out as not following the more lovey-dovey themes that fill the rest of the book and do make it more difficult to recommend to fans who don't care for non-vanilla content.
Overall the art style is good and there's a nice variety of characters. One other thing which did stick out at me though was that the artist really seemed to like drawing girls with slim, lean figures but they still all managed to be fairly well endowed. It made it a bit discordant at times.
Despites those more negative remarks, I still consider it a good collection. Each story has a fairly unique plot and while they all of course end in sex (this is hentai after all) they manage to each have a unique take on the relationship and action. The shared setting is used well, providing a consistent thematic backdrop without getting repetitive.
Note that all of the stories here are from Kairakuten and so other than the bonus end roll added in the book, this is all available via subscription.

Worth to buy
The author has his own style, which stands out against the other works. The drawing is good, memorable and unique. It's definitely worth buying.
All chapters are available for free if you have Fakku! subscription, you can read them before buying.

Fun, quick, vanilla!
This is a fun, quick, lighthearted read. I’m a big van of the vanilla tag, though to be honest, some of these are such plain vanilla that they’re a little forgettable. I think the story setups being a little more fleshed out could have made the collection more memorable. I did like the shared setting, and the final chapter where all the stories cross together was a really fun touch.

A decent work of art
Been quite pleasant reading this one, overall the plot was good and all, about various stories taking place in a hotel blending into one but what I find more intriguing was the art style of Sumiya sensei whose touch may not seem so soft but has something in it making it look somewhat attractive.

Made up of mostly explicit romantic tales for Vanilla fans
Okay, the reason why I bought Grand Hotel Life the book was because its flagship chapter “Grand Hotel Life” is a favorite of mine, so when I saw the artist who created it (Sumiya) had a whole book published, I had to get it. That story was actually the first story I favorited after I became a Fakku! subscriber. The rest of the book is predominantly vanilla like the chapter Grand Hotel Life but it isn’t plagued with cookie-cutter romance-intimate stories; some are raunchy, naughty couple situations, and there are two non-vanilla chapters, one of which was a group sex story that was salacious while being 100% consensual.
Now, the other non-vanilla chapter was an emotion provoking cheating story that might be the most impactful tale unfortunately just because of its shock value. Grand Hotel Snatch, which is also available with Fakku!’s subscription service, is a regular cheating story and not a cheating story you could actually lump in as a “cheating/vanilla” tale. It does try to garner some sympathy for the MC (the cheater) because she was coming off of a fight with her boyfriend but the further I got into the story, any would-be empathy that was trying to be conveyed to the reader for her falls completely flat on its face. The MC turns out to be the regular disingenuous cheating character and the person she cheats with is just as low in character as she is. It borders on being netorare/netorase because she finds herself in a room at the Grand Hotel in bed in the morning with her paramour without being able to remember how she got there because she drank so much the night before, but he then re-convinces her why she went to bed with him in first place. The last part of the story, she talks to her boyfriend on phone while being pleasured. Just like with a host of other cheating/NTR chapters, it’s better if a vanilla fan to either skip that story or just ignore what’s being said in the dialog balloons.
Overall, outside on Grand Hotel Snatch, Grand Hotel Life is a must for vanilla fans and I’ll give it 5 Stars for that. But again, unfortunately, Grand Hotel Snatch might be the most memorable title because of the shock value. It seems the tagger of the book agrees because although this book is like 90% pure vanilla storyline, it did not get the vanilla tag but did get the cheating tag.

I just put a vanilla tag request in...I'm not sure how you can leave that tag out from a book that's, like, 85% vanilla. Then there are other books that 20% of the stories are vanilla but all the rest are far from that and they still have vanilla tag.

Hentai Related to Grand Hotel Life
There are no download links available for Grand Hotel Life.
There is a fairly hardcore NTR chapter (Grand Hotel Snatch) which some people might find offputting. The story focuses on the fact that she is cheating and she is doing it while thinking about her relationship/boyfriend the whole time. I think it is supposed to feel more like through the magic of Chad's alpha cock she learned that sex is great and her boyfriend isn't, and not we are supposed to feel bad their relationship got to the point she's having sex with strangers in a hotel room.
Grand Hotel Maid might also be a little hardcore for the straight vanilla fans since it is a kind-of-weird swinging S&M story. My taste run pretty vanilla and I just found it more amusing than anything.
I think that anyone that likes petite but shapely characters that aren't JK/Loli is going to love this book. I think if you are looking for something too vanilla or too freaky, this probably is not for you.
