I can't say that I'm happy with the ending (he shouldn't have forgotten), but it did end in a way that a sequel could easily have a proper, vanilla ending. So, hopefully, we get a sequel. :)

AWWWW!!!!!!!!!! ... reminds me of a classic work from those days B.L. (Before FAKKU Became Legit) named "La Nouvelle Lune (The New Moon), by Yukino Hasegawa". Not the same story, but there are similarities ... and they share at least one thing in common IMHO - the W.A.F.F. level is OVER NINE THOUSAND!
