It might have started out as a mistake, but I'd say it worked out perfectly in the end, in the sweetest, most Vanilla filled way possible.
I can definitely respect him for being truthful and admitting what happened before saying he wants to properly date her because he came to love her after they spent time together, and didn't want it to stay as something that started as a misunderstanding. And I think his earnest apology and confession certainly got through to her.
Great ending too. Sure she is kinda playfully threatening him, but it also means she is perfectly happy and willing to do it again in future.
All I can say is, I really liked this release.
