I think we can all agree that deflowering a novitiate is an underrated kink. But the thing bugging me is that low-focus illustration of the supposed statue of Jesus on page 11. I'm no expert, but that didn't exactly look like a standard icon of the savior. The pose was all wrong and the halo looked more like one they put behind Buddhist saints not Catholic ones. Too low, for one thing.

The statue of Jesus is not unusual at all. It depicts Him in a standard "Sacred
Heart of Jesus" pose. The "halo" is probably a sunburst plaque affixed to the
wall behind the statue. It's a common decorative motif in church architecture.

As for the "deflowering," I don't think Ayumu is a virgin. She and Akinori behave
very much like a couple renewing an intimate relationship.
