You know, this actually felt pretty authentic for a mutual first time between a boy and a girl. The awkwardness was actually pretty charming and for some reason the ending put a smile on my face. I hope that we get to see more of these two as they get older and more confident in both their bodies and themselves. Heck, it could even end with them getting married and have kids of their own, which is of course the ultimate vanilla ending.

It's quite possible that this depicted a more realistic "first time encounter" than anything their classmates might boast about.
