Was also disappointed that they were like, "...And then it was solved! The end". I would have appreciated any kind of minor detail. As H-Connoisseur suggested, maybe future chapters will have a case premise and sex will occur on-site of a crime scene or investigation.

I like the sex scenes as much as anyone, but the whole detective agency
premise will be utterly wasted if we never see anyone actually working on
a case---and Shimohara must be aware of that.

So I remain optimistic. The MCs make a delightful couple, and I hope we
see a lot more of them in the future (outside the office).

EDIT:
After re-reading page 29 very carefully, I have determined that the case has
not been solved yet, so we may see some on-site action in the next chapter.

Yeah, the actual case was sorta left by the wayside. Now that the major
characters have been introduced, maybe Manaka & Arikawa will go out
on cases together in future chapters. That could lead to some interesting
erotic adventures.

The Chief is a trained investigator with an observant eye. When his daughter
comes home from a shopping trip, he's likely to notice if she's carrying a bag
from a fancy lingerie shop. I don't see any real hint of incest in that situation.
