I too vote for the short haircut.

The "fangs" are an example of yaeba, literally
"double tooth" (which the FMC mentions on
page 7). From the Wiki:

"In Japan, yaeba is human teeth, especially upper
canines, with an uncommonly fang-like appearance.
In Japan it's perceived as a sign of youthfulness.

You're right. I never searched under the "Fangs"
tag, and I mistakenly assumed it referred only to
