As the above user said you can surf the web all day and there will be no extra charges and most of the apps on the app store are free. The iPhone does the app process better then any other phone currently. Also I think plenty of people are completely willing to pay the money when you consider the $99 drop for the iPhone 3G (not 3GS) only happened recently and they have sold around 20 million of the things. Also the app store has had over 1 billion downloads so I think the phone is doing pretty good by anyone's standards.

He gave the reason why he wanted the iPhone, Full HTML browser, App store etc, so I don't see why you think it's such a bad thing he gets an iPhone (which he already has) or wants one in the first place. Also he stated already that he doesn't text much so why would he need a full qwerty keyboard? let's not forget that if he does text he can just turn the iPhone side ways now and it turns into a full keyboard (not full full but you know what I mean).
As for the iPod part of it sucking up the battery I have never once had that happen with mine. I just chose a song and put it in sleep mode. I never listen to say 10 + hours of music when I am out anyways. Not to mention it does have screen brightness adjustments as well as many many other ways to save battery life (too lazy to mention them all) whcih will boost that up. Basically I view angelus as me in our terms of usage with the iPhone. I do and don't do a lot of the things he does and I have never once regretted buy my iPhone (hence buying a second one).

You're using it each and every time you play games on the PS3. If Sony were to take out the blu ray player they would have to have all the games remade on DvD9 format disks. The blu ray player is a step forwards in console gaming and gaming in general really. I doubt computers will get rid of their DvD9 format anytime soon but when blu ray becomes standard they will. After all we can store 7.5 Gigs on a DvD9 disk and we have blu ray disks that can hold 200 Gigs on a single disk.
