People keep acting like the race is over for who has won but it's far from it. If the analysts are to be believed this generation will be the longest we've seen with not a new model coming out but just more SKUs. I still think Sony will come in second just ahead of Nintendo. 70% of that is fanboy based and 30% is the value for money. The PS3 offers more as a home entertainment device then the 360 and is now on marks with it as a gaming device as well. All the third party games that are worth a play anyways are coming out multiplatform so the 360 doesn't have an advantage over that anymore.
The price still needs to come down on the PS3 tho and I think we will see that when the slim releases this year. If it doesn't happen Sony is fucking retarded.

Speaking of which, they've come out with an Atom that has a 500hp V8 and F-1 style side pods and F/R wings.
Fukken Awesome.
Indeed I have seen that thing and I think it is ridiculous. By that I mean ridiculously awesome. It has something like 1000 Hp per ton almost so that thing is going to fly. 0-60 mph 2 and something seconds but what will be truly impressive is going to be it's 0-150 mph time. I think it will be close to 10 seconds to 150 mph and that is really moving. I am a little bit worried tho about that big heavy V8 being in the back making for some over steer. They did give it F1 aero dynamics but still that's a lot of engine for a car that just weighs a little over 1000 lbs.

The Evora's not bad but I rather take the Elise. Lighter, nimbler, and so much better looking. And let's not forget the track-ready Exige.I still prefer the Evora. If you take into account everything as far as it being a awesome car to drive as well as being very practical it is the obvious choice in my opinion. If you just wanted a track day car you are better off with the other two aforementioned cars or an Ariel Atom or something along those lines.

Well if it's about prestige then I'll take a Pagani Zonda or a Koenigsegg CCXR. I'll never take the Veyron because it's just too ugly. Plus everybody wants one. I rather be unique than follow the crowd.I'm not trying to sell the Veyron to you or anything I was stating that the prestige is what matters. Sure everyone wants one and that's cause it's well known for it's abilities and absurd quality. After all there are few cars that's turn signal indicators are magnesium and cost $5,000 or have a W16 quad turbo engine. It's those features that draw the crowd in and why they're able to sell the car or should I say cars since they're several versions of it.

*Edit* I understand that people want expensive cars but usually the idiots that buy them just put them into storage. That's not using the car to it's full potential, plus some of them can't even drive those cars correctly.I agree full well with that. I hate it when people buy cars and then put them in storage be it that I also understand that they are less then apprehensive about taking a car that costs several thousand dollars to the track. That doesn't seem to stop them tho from being show offs on the road and crashing them.
