This was a well animated, well produced piece of work, but when compared with the full story from the VN, it lacks in a lot of areas. I would like to see Heaven's Feel and Fate route done in this manner.
Now, if they will just make a PS3 version of F/HA, we can have voices in the F/HA VN.

Thanks Squall, that's exactly what I was looking for. I will rep you whenever I can again.
I didn't feel like playing the games, Kaimax. Just wanted the pron to fap to.

I'm looking for Batsugun Kanojo. It's from a VN and is the cut scenes of the sex scenes from the game. There are a few links on Fakku to it, but for some reason or another they are all shitty, either being in rmvb or flv. I want high quality such as .avi or .mkv. Also, to whomever does find it, I would appreciate it if you would reupload it to either Mediafire or Megaupload.

do these guys know what a reboot fucking means??? It's not a goddamn reboot if these guys say it tells the origin of the character, unless it's set in an alternate universe
Why can't a reboot tell the origin of a character? I recall Star Trek doing that, and quite successfully, too. I do not, though you may, know for an absolute fact that DMC is or is not set in an alternate universe, and as such, many possibilities lay open.
That aside, we know very little about DMC, so judging the game and it's developers at this stage after a single 2 minute trailer, and largely for the appearance of the character, for that matter, is rather crass. The story may very well be fantastic, the gameplay could be far above all other DmC games, and the artistic style of Dante may be explained. However, we are both working off of speculation.
Stagnation was a rapidly approaching problem for the DmC series, and Dante was also prone to this issue. After 4 games of dealing with Dante you know what he is going to do next. Though this may immediately seem like a positive trait, I like to think of it as akin to knowing where enemies spawn in a game; soon you start "going through the motions" and lose all real emotional feeling towards the person or situation. Claptrap is an excellent example of this phenomenon.
+rep for a beautifully made post. I agree completely.

True, but still sub-par to what DMC should be... this game had a chance to be good, only if it wasn't under the DMC brand. So it would be good if it just wasn't called DMC? Flawless logic.
No need to be sarcastic. This is like the new Crash Bandicoot games.
The new Bandicoot games sucked because they sucked, not because they were called Crash Bandicoot. Changing it to bear with bird wouldn't have made them any better.

but the fact that they're actually bad remakes of the original characters, that just makes them suck because the fans will always like the Naughty Dog versions more.Good thing then that the only thing that's similar to this DMC and the previous one's is his name so far. Right? So it's gonna be good.

If they named him Sue, Tony, Sparks or anything else and made him an equivalent of Nero, then he had a chance to be ok. Remember that Nero was kinda hated in the beginning as well, since fans were outraged by him stealing the spotlight in DMC4, but that passed simply because he was a different character than Dante. Imo, they can add how many characters they want to the original series, but Dante needs to stay Dante, one, if not the most central and strongest character in the DMC Universe.Nero was way better than Dante in DMC4 and much more FABULOUS.
Arguing that a name change can better a character simply because they're no longer bound to a previous incarnation is stupid. A name doesn't make or break a character, story, or game play. If any of those are shit or good, changing the name won't make them the opposite, unless it compromises the integrity. For example Bruce Willis's character in Die Hard would have been a lot less bad ass if he was called John Mcsucksdick.
If you wanted to argue that changing Dante's look into what it is now ruined the game for you, then yeah that's justified, if a bit shallow. However, the way you're saying it is if he was simply named something other than Dante you would have been fine with it. That's just fanboyism. If you meant something else, which I hope you did, then just ignore this.
