I am sorry, I didn't mean to offend, I was only joking.I didn't quite understand it, but didn't think that you were trying to be offensive. Guess it just came off wrong. Amazing what a little ";)" could add to a post, 'eh? Haha.
Also, just got a nice box of goodies in last night. I'll share with you guys when I get home. :D

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this but I just want to know if anyone here washes their daki. And what are the best methods to wash them (hand, machine, ect)Thanks in advance
Yeah, I left this post alone because I don't have washing experience myself (I'm a collector and most of my covers don't get much/any use.) It has been talked about in this thread a few times, and everyone has their own style for doing so, so I figured someone would chime in sooner than later. ^^
The most detailed guide I've seen was written by BluRay quite some time back, but I can't speak for it being the best, because I don't have the experience. You can see his post here: https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?p=2606759#2606759
Yeah, that one was pretty detailed. Reminded me of a writing assignment I had in like the 2nd grade where you had to tell an alien how to make a PB&J sandwich. You literally had to describe every minute detail. ;P
Blu says that "any kind of detergent is fine," but Quadra, you're best to play it safe with dye/perfume free detergent. Try All Free & Clear.

It's been discussed a few times before, but I'm not gonna' harp on you because I'm sure that you, like me, don't want to wade through nearly 300 pages of posts.
Anyhow, if you are looking to wash your dakimakura then I suggest lightly handwashing it inside out in cool water with a mild detergent (no perfumes or dyes). Also, I ill advise any scrubbing with sponges or anything of the sort, just use your hands. And obviously no scratching/scrubbing with fingernails. Once, you're done with that gently squeeze out some of the excess water, and hang dry. ;)

Having own quite a bit of authentic covers myself, I would have prefer if you did a comparison for a authentic cover versus those bootlegs. And as far as materials goes, there's a lot more from where it came from especially the different variants for 2 way tricots and roica.
As for comiket, looks like I'm only interested in the Kamikaze explorer cover.Hopefully nothing else catches my eye.
I am digging the Nanasemeruchi covers:

The new BootUp covers are pretty nice too:

And I like the Clochette cover, but something about her face looks a bit off...maybe it's her eyes.
Ambitious. I'm rather surprised that you found someone to film it for you!
As for fighting games, I couldn't really get into SFxTekken. I'm more into Arc Sys Works fighters, not at a competition level, but just play to have fun. :)

I put up a new collection post http://www.figure.fm/en/post/44789/Dakimakura+Collection+51.htmlAnd Yokatta seem to have lost one of my covers, after thinking they sent it to me when they didn't... will see how badly this turns out now D:
So what exactly motivates you guys to post on FigureFM when they make you censor your posts? If I had to guess, it would be the audience/viewership there. I mean, that's where I see the appeal, but still haven't really found a reason to post anything there.
Initially I never censored there, and had made 35 or more posts there before it ever became an issue and had to start. As such I continue now since I have a small group of "followers" who seem to appreciate it still.
Well, that's cool of you to continue posting there. I think I remember hearing something about them requesting censoring explicit images and that instantly turned me away.

I have a question. Is someone able to tell me who this character is, and perhaps who the artist is?

Not a whole lot from me. Waiting on a batch of goodies from SMJ. I have a bunch of pictures that I need to resize/crop and upload. Maybe I'll get to it tonight or sometime this weekend.

Latest dakimakura loot haul:http://www.figure.fm/en/post/44705/Late+November+Loot.html
Figure FM loads slower than shit, and scrolling up/down on that site is even slower.
Well, I put my order in for one of the Lilith covers and three Harthnir covers: one of each of the new versions in 2WT, and a double in microfiber so I could get the bonus items (had to order three covers to get them).
That is going to be a scary ass invoice. Merry Christmas to me?
Jesus, I feel like grabbing a brown paper bag to hyperventilate into. *breathe, just breathe*
EDIT: LOL Excuse me, sir. I think that there may be an error...

Happy late Thanksgiving! And, I hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm curious as to know your motivations behind dakimakura collection/usage. Personally, I just don't quite get them, but I don't necessarily look down upon them. They're just something I've never clearly understood, aside from the obvious uses. While the kinds of people I've seen buying Dakimakuras at conventions fit the normal stereotypes, I'm interested in looking past the stigma and learning more about the culture. It's interesting to see your guy's collections and such. Is the whole appeal of it more about collecting them, like a Gunpla modeler buys Gundam kits? Or simply having yet another item related to a beloved anime character, or other reasons? I really don't mean to be rude, so pardon me if it sounds like that. I'm really just curious to learn about this as another subsection of otaku/anime/Japanese culture, or however you want to label it. If anyone could clear things up for me, that'd be appreciated.
Wow. Well, that certainly was an unexpected, pleasant, and very polite way to ask about the collecting habits of others. You don't see that too often anymore, so I thank you for that. :)
I really wish that I didn't like them. I probably would have...no, I definitely would have saved a few grand (OK, so more like several grand, but you get the picture). ;)
Anyhow, I like hentai and pervy shit, and simply put, there's something special about owning a cover that trumps just saving an image of it to your computer. I don't think that is the best way to describe it, but I suppose it's one of my most basic reasons. It's quite the materialistic hobby (no pun intended), that's for sure.
I was just talking about this, but I don't even get to display any of my hentai goods (sans a few risque PVC figures), but knowing that I have them is somewhat and somehow consoling. Not to mention, they are super comfortable to sleep with.
And yeah, like Shashin said, feel free to pop in and ask any questions or share any thoughts you may have on the subject.
Oh, and if you're looking for collection images and what not, I have some of mine posted in my signature, and so do a few others, but lately everyone has been migrating over to Figure.FM.

Sweet! Ask confirmed last night that the 30 pre-order mark was hit. Yeah, I wouldn't think that Ask or HOP would have a hard time fulfilling 30 pre-orders. ;)EDIT: Not dakimakura related, but my new Harthnir goodies arrived:
Spoiler:
The item in the top left is a tissue box. The tissues are dispensed in the center making it look like...well, you know... ;)
And if anyone wants a new copy of that game (bottom left) let me know, because I now have three of them.
Just curious, do you ever display your Harthnir stuff? :D
LOL. I don't really display any of my H-goods. My living situation doesn't really permit me to, otherwise I might. ;)
I did have a tapestry up for a while, but I always felt like there was a risk of someone coming in and seeing it.
Thought so :D I display most of my stuff and cast-off figures, but I can't imgagine a poster/tapestry with a huge penis hanging on my wall ^^
Hmm, wasn't active the last few weeks, but only due to saving money for christmas and Japan, so my hobby priority changed
Yeah, I haven't had much to post either, but I've still been trying to keep the thread alive. ;)
I do have my figures on display in a large display case, but that aside, I don't tend to display any of my hentai material out in public. I do have this large ERECT TOUCH tapestry/towel that I would hang if I could. I always wanted it, and Shashin was cool enough to point me to it when he stumbled across one that popped up in a YJA auction earlier this year. Thanks again, Shash'. :)

Yeah, it appears that it was on the PayPal end of things. Also, I'm find out from Ask (via email) if the 30-cover requirement for the Tifa cover was met because that is why SMJ is still showing my order as still running.
Oh, nah. I don't care that there weren't any posts over the weekend. I would have posted the Sengendo cover regardless of whether or not someone had added to the thread. I thought I'd take a stab at spoiling their teaser image the same way Tsurupettan and I did with the Secreder Tamamo cover, and there she was in all of her glory. At least I was staying on topic. *cough cough* Just messin' with you guys. ;)
Anyhow, SMJ is still moving at a ridiculously slow rate. I sent them a request last Friday to have my Kuma-Puro cover shipped out, and today I received a message saying that my shipping request was denied on account of my not having paid for the cover (I paid for it last Tuesday). So I responded and attached an image of my PayPal payment screen.
EDIT: RESOLVED :)
