Is having 2,000 posts suppose to be a big thing? That is a laughable amount tbh. If you want big Moses had over 100,000 posts on a forum. That is something "big". Also I thought we weren't elitists here. I don't hold my rep or posts over anyone. Posts are what matter imo. If you can make a awesome post, help the forum, or upload stuff then that is what deserves respect. IDK why IB posts don't count. Seems kind of pointless to me.


Also Fakku lacks titles big time. We need to have stuff for 3,000 4,000 5,000 etc. It's not that hard to just make up some random title that sounds cool. Fakku Master, Fakku Super Elder etc. Custom titles would be nice to.


EDIT: When I say laughable I mean for any other forum. Seriously that is nothing to think of. 2,000 posts is pretty small.

I never did get the full story on that. I wasn't here. I am guessing there wasn't a mod around to start deleting the posts as they started to rack up. Or a Admin around to then ban the users that were spamming. If it works on other forums it can work on Fakku. You have really really become active as of late Jacob but still we need more moderators. If we had some then a post count would not be unreasonable. Sakurahana for instance has 4 mods and a admin of right now. Fakku has nobody right now logged on except you.

Also sites that have a post count have spam forums. Where there is hardly any moderation and you can spam to get the post count up. That's not to say it's mindless spam. For example just saying I like hentai I like hentai I like hentai etc over and over again. It's where the forum games are. it's the same for every forum I belong to. Throw something at user game, LPW thread (basically chat thread except posts count) and more games I am not gonna bother explaining. It works to. The links are not reported as much as Fakku's links.

I am just giving you examples of what I have seen on other forums. It is your site and I will definitely not tell you what to do with it. Fakku is still my favorite forum <3. But, trying new things is always nice. never know, could work out. Then again it could bomb. Live and learn etc.

That is where their money and success comes from. The wii had as I've said the cool factor except with kids other then the hardcore class. The wii was on just about every kids wish list. The motion sensor sold the hell out of that thing. They knew it would work because touch screen worked with the DS. It was the interactivity that drew kids. I have played three games on the wii. SSBB, Mario Galaxy, Zelda. That is all that interested me.



Since Nintendo and game companies made games for the family to begin with I don't see how it was such a gamble. They made games a whole family could play. Relating a gaming console with a family today. All the family could play a lot of wii games at once. Siblings etc. They marketed and sold the hell out of it. Sure they took a slight risk but it was pretty cemented. Cheap, interactive, burns kids energy with flailing of controller and family oriented.



That was indeed a smart move. They wanted to show how a family could interact and play with the console.



Well doesn't nintendo just have a big heart? It's almost the size of their wallet.

It was a backfire they new was coming tho. It was always a money lost situation and they knew it. They however couldn't predict our economy going to shit. That is what hurt them more then they wanted.




I was referring more towards the games. The reason the wii can't handle high end graphics is because they never had any intention of doing anything like what the Ps3 and 360 are doing. They related their console to kids. The majority of wii's aren't bought by gamers, they are bought by moms for their kids. The same with the DS.



Consoles are still E74ing and RRODing.



WIth our economy and their piss poor sales as of late I doubt that will ever happen.




Microsoft refuses to admit their mistake with HDDVD and hop on the PS3 blu ray band wagon. There have been so many rumors but they deny it every time. Nintendo just needs to come out with a whole new console. Keep the wii compatibility but make it with less limitations.

The only way a forum can get messed up from something like that is if it is under modded. Which FAKKU is under modded. I just don't see why it's such a big deal to have a post count needed when it is the norm for just about every other forum. Fakku has more links reported then any other site that I have been to by a big margin. The sites that have less links reported either have a post count or rep needed.

I'm pretty sure he is talking about before hand. Thinking fr them to all make one now is ludicrous considering all the hard work each company has put into their respective consoles.




Sony has made huge improvements to their console. They had and have a gameplan. Financial lost was expected from the sales of the ps3. They knew full well costs of production wouldn'y be equaled by sales for many years. It still isn't btw. The PS3 is simply made of higher quality parts and has more features and there for parts then any of the other consoles.

Nintendo took the safe route and did what they are good at. Casual gaming. Not breaking from the norm and trying something new is considered hard work nowadays? I always thought trying new and different things and dealing with the good and bad that comes with said new ideas was hard work. Admittedly there is the whole motion control thing and wii fit but really? A exercise machine?


I also lol'd at microsoft smart comment when I think of the hundreds of thousands of consoles that have RRODed and E74ed. Also the whole problem with the disk drive scratching DVDs and games when you set it up. That is smart thinking right there indeed. /sarcasm.

For like the hundredth time. That is not for a 360 MGS4. It has been revealed to be a MG game for the iPhone.

From the pics I have seen it's far to slim already for it to get slimmer as the years go on. It would be as thin as a sheet of paper if that was the case. I doubt anything will be shown at E3 about it since it's a prototype. The pics I have seen are fuzzy and are taken in a lab. The handler of the device has on green gloves suggestion the full sterilization thing is going on.

It's kind of lame imo. I usually like my women to have a lower half as well as a upper half.

IMHO, no. Then again if Sony can keep the quality that the PS3 has now while slimming it down and keep the price it has and maybe even lower the price considering the Ps2 slim was a lower price when it came out then yes. It would be beneficial for Sony. Anything to boost sales right? Sure the economy might hold back the sales of the cool factor but people will still buy it. Sex and cool things sale. The new camaro for example is a terrible thing right now to release with gas prices and our economy. But GM is banking on that cool factor and fans of the product.
