They didn't call them death gods in the dub because the localization it was written for isn't accustomed to the Japanese culture of having gods for pretty much everything. What I don't understand is why in the dub they call out the spells and abilities in Japanese. It just seemed extremely awkward and I bet the person watching at home is confused beyond belief. I'm not a fan of "Americanizing" a series but I think in this case they should have.So i was curious and watched a couple of the dubbed episodes of Bleach. And i must say it felt weird how some words were Westernized while others weren't. It felt very weird...... This is one anime I don't think i can appreciate Wessternized....

Anyways back on topic, I really don't think this a good investment to spend cash on. There isn't anything unique about it like CB pointed out. It's just another way to make profit, at least that's what it feels like to me. It's just something that has been made but improved by making it bigger and more easier to carry, as Rove pointed out.
Not sure why GD but when I read your poem, I could hear a song that would relate to your poem. Pretty good, dark and sullen, but good nonetheless.
