Is there any other problem surrounding the creation of such a section, Jacob? Like really, if you have some qualms at least let people search for a solution?
I am unable to comprehend why you don't want to spare a few minutes to create a simple section, I'd love to at least know the reasoning from you yourself; as I just don't understand what you hope to gain from disappointing a whole bunch of people here.

It was the 4th of May. Today, Charlotte and Iori came to a store, they were both clad in the Starlight uniform. It was larger than expected. There was a golden takoyaki statue-like figure over the entrance which was a black door with a golden octopus symbol over it. As the two entered, they were greeted with an old man who smiled at them. A large store that only sold takoyaki… was rather unheard of. Usually such stores comes in the form of stalls. Iori, however, decided not to think much about it. They noted that the store had some customers, but not so much. Was this the reason why needed image girls for it?
“Welcome, welcome, I have been expecting the two of you!” He said, with his baritone voice. The man had a big built of a figure for a mere old man. Despite his age, he seemed to be plenty enthusiastic and energetic.
“We’re in your care today,” Iori replied with a smile, giving a bow.
“We’re in your care today,” Charlotte also gave a smile and gave a bow. “If I may ask what will be doing today sir?”
“Haha, well, come this way,” the man of the store said. “I got a room prepared for you two, I’ll share the details there,” he continued, walking; leading the way.
As they were lead into a room, to which the door lied to the corner of the eye upon entrance to the store; Charlotte and Iori found themselves in a rather spacious room. There were sofas all set around a transparent table. The furnitures seemed comfortable just from how they looked.
“Take a seat, you two,” the man said, motioning his hand towards the seat. “This is a VIP room. You see, even though I call this a takoyaki shop; I plan to sell all kinds of other food here, other than – crepes, or say, yakisoba breads, we already have those here, in fact! I want to expand the menu even more, however.”
“I take it you want us to help you advertise your new products then?”
“Well, that has to be it. It’s what image girls do,” Iori answered in the owner’s stead.
“Yes, I suppose so. In here, I want you girls to try out our products. Pick anything from the menu,” he said, “You can try whatever you want – free of cost – but at the end of it all; you’ll be having the special golden takoyaki; which only those from this room may have,” he explained. “I’ll be recording the video with this camera today,” he added, taking out a handy camera from his pocket, it was small and convenient. “The video will be put up in the internet for publicity. I’d love to do a commercial one day, but for now, I’ll have to be doing it like the rest of the small stores, haha!” he said, giving a hearty laugh, then gave two copies of the menu to the girls.
Charlotte took a quick look in the menu that were handed to them. “I’ll take the strawberry crepe please,” Charlotte said happily.
Iori smiled weakly at Charlotte, then peered into the menu. “I’d like this ordinary takoyaki, then,” Iori said. “It might help if I compare. I might be able to bring out the appeal of the special takoyaki,” she added.
The old man nodded with a big smile, then came back in a jiffy. “Here you go! One strawberry crepe, and takoyaki!” He placed the food in front of the two over the table. The strawberry crepe seemed more special than the ordinary ones that Charlotte always had. The takoyaki was apparently warm and squishy from its looks. The aroma made Iori impatient. “Unfortunately, I have to be the one delivering orders and recording. We’re heavily understaffed here…” he said, looking sad, as he picked up the camera from the table.
“Okay then, let’s start! I’m gonna roll the camera on now!” The old man said, he then pressed on a button. “Hello folks, this is the Light of the Stars – Golden Takoyaki shop!” He introduced. “Today, we have our two cute image girls who won our audition for it – Minase Iori-san and Charlotte-san!”
Iori and Charlotte waved their hands to the camera. With a smile, of course. “Today we’re gonna taste some of the food found from this menu here,” Iori explained. She had no script to follow, so she assumed that she was free to improvise her lines. “Please watch us as we taste these delicious looking food!”
”We’ll start with Iori-chan trying out their normal takoyaki from the menu. Then followed by me; trying out their strawberry crepe,” Charlotte said, delighted.
Iori then took up a thin stick before piercing the apparent meatball of the octopus, then scooping it up to her. Opening her mouth wide, she dipped it in without hesitation. She munched at it desperately. “Ah! Hot! Hot!” She squirmed and exclaimed; covering her mouth, as she blew out some hot air as she tried to chew it properly. Moments passed and Iori finally got rid of the excess heat stored inside her food.
She then made a bright smiling face. “Mnm!” Her eyes were starry, as she held her cheeks with both her hands; apparently in a dreamy-state. “The exterior is crusty, yet creamy with delicious mayonnaise and special sauce. The inside is also creamy. So good!”
Charlotte went ahead and picked up her strawberry crepe. She then took a bite from her crepe right, after which she gave it a few more speedy bites, and she could be seen smiling happily. “It’s so sweet and delicious,” Charlotte said as she then took another bite. “The strawberries are extra sweet and the chocolate and whipped cream in the crepe makes it even more delicious.”
“I’m so touched that they are so good!” The old man commented happily. “Well, keep ordering! I wouldn’t mind you tasting our other products! We got plenty, despite being a takoyaki shop!”
After a few food from the menu that the two tasted – all of which were definitely delicious – it was time for the main deal. “Alright, here it is – the Golden Takoyaki!”
Iori and Charlotte smiled brightly to it. It was truly golden. Iori wondered what he did to make it sparkly golden like this. Addition of color? She hoped not. Perhaps it was a special form of sauce and mayonnaise? She hoped so.
“Please try it out!” The old man seemed confident in this, the smile clearly showed it. He was proud of it.
Iori made an expression of determination. “Smells good!”
”It really does smell good,” Charlotte added after Iori; agreeing with her.
Iori then picked up one of the golden meatballs from the plate. “It’s so sparkly and golden,” she commented as she moved it closer. It then went straight to her mouth. After a moment – there was a battle between Iori and the rebelling heat of the food. “Hot!” She blowed the head out with her breathe like before, then chewed with a satisfied face. “No doubt about it, it’s especially good,” Iori said, apparently there was a light escaping from Iori’s face – who shined like the gold itself – her expression of dreamyness and wonder was a sight to behold.
Charlotte also picked up one of the golden meatballs from the plate, but before taking a bite; she blew on it to cool it down a bit. She then put into her mouth. Though she had blew on it to cool it down; the inside of the takoyaki was still hot. ”It’s really hot,” Charlotte said as she then covered her mouth with her hand and tried blowing a bit to cool down the takoyaki in her mouth. After a bit, she was able to swallow it. ”It’s really good, especially the sauce used on it.”
“I’m so touched! I knew it myself that it tastes great, but seeing is believing, I guess!” The owner said with pure joy. “You see, the reason I opened this store, is because I love to see people smile after eating something delicious. It all began after I saw my son and daughter’s smiles from having my takoyakis. That said, my daughter is a fan of yours, Iori-chan!”
“I see, so that’s how it is,” Iori smiled warmly at the owner. “I hope you get to see more of such smiles from now on,” she earnestly wished with a big smile. “Perhaps I should sign something for her,” she added.
”I hope you can keep making people smile with your food,” Charlotte said happily. ”Iori-chan sure does have a lot fans doesn’t she.”
“Ahh! I’d most appreciate if you two sign something. I’d personally want a sign from Charlotte-san here… haha,” the man said with a hearty laugh.
”I’ll be happy to sign something for you,” Charlotte said with a big smile.
“Hmmm, I don’t have those papers for signs but… I’m sure they’d love it if you sign on some of their precious things,” he said, making a mental note to grab them for Charlotte and Iori after finishing the recording. “That aside, I suppose it’s time to wrap this recording up,” he said.
“Thank you for the opportunity! The items here are really good!” Iori remarked, waving to the camera.
”Thank you very much for having us here, and thank you for the delicious food. I hope you invite us again.” Charlotte said as she waved at the camera.
“Well, this was the preview to all the other good food available in my takoyaki shop – Light of the Stars!” The recording was then saved, and the filming was stopped. “I’d invite you two again when we go big! Maybe we can do a commercial next time! Haha!!”
“I’ll look forward to that. It’s great to dream big!” Iori said, happy at the notion of a commercial. This was like sowing the seeds for the future. She was glad that she took up the audition with Charlotte in the first place.
“That would be very kind of you sir. We hope for the best for you.”
Charlotte and Iori then exited the store after waving to the owner. Charlotte was happy to know that she had a new fan now – the owner definitely seemed to like her now. Iori was quite satisfied from the food and the work. She felt energized; inspired to try harder than ever, and get more jobs.
The two then approached a black fancy car parked before them. It was Iori’s ride. “You wanna go anywhere? There’s class in session right now, but we can use this job excuse to maybe hang out somewhere,” Iori suggested.
“Let’s go to the park. Relaxing a bit is good especially after a job,” Charlotte said as followed Iori into the car.
“Alright then, the park it is.”
“Do you believe going on our uniforms will be fine? Charlotte asked as the car began driving off.
“Good idea, we should go shopping first,” Iori said as Charlotte sat.

“It’s like I became the protagonist of a RPG…” Johnny mumbled, before saying more coherently, “Demon Lords, too, huh? They aren’t bent on destroying this world, are they? I already kinda like it here.” He joked, taking his knowledge from video games. He was telling the truth about enjoying this place more than his world, however.
“Demon Lords you say? To think they live in this world too. But they might be different from the ones that lived in my world.”
“They are, actually. In a different sense, however. Regardless, none of their intentions had been any good. They’re feared and hated, and are eventually defeated, always,” Kin’iro answered to Johnny. She noted what Reisys said, too. Different Demon Lords, mn? Vampire kings, perhaps? The Demon Lords of Miniature Gardens were beings born with the exclusive right and title – the privilege of Host Master. Much like Kin’iro, who possessed this title too.
“Very interesting… at least there’s always a hero at the end of the day.” Johnny smiled for a moment and said, “Maybe that can be us one of these days, too.”
“Let’s hope that,” Kin’iro said in response to the sound of a hero with a hint of sadness. “Heroes are tragic yet glorious beings. I happen to admire them. Greatly, if I may add.”
Camerin was entranced at the thought of what the prize could be. Money? Fame? A big feast? No, the thing Camerin was hoping for was a bit more...risqué. His mental image of Atalanta's human form was also not suitable for a child's eyes. “Hehe…” He discreetly chuckled to himself. “So, a race eh?”
“Hey, Pervert One and Pervert Two, I’m pretty sure whatever you’re imagining; that’s not the prize,” Reisys said while she gave a quick glare to Johnny and Camerin.
“The prize is a Gift, so obviously; it’s not,” Kin’iro said, with a weakened smile as she stared at the two labeled perverts while beads of sweat ran down at the back of her head. These two were perverts to a rather extreme degree – she admitted. Them ogling over her breasts was a given – as she was a pretty flower who’d be admired and envied, but this was going overheard now. A Gift wouldn’t really be a sexual reward, at all. Unless it had seductive qualities. Wasn’t the prize already mentioned, anyway? What’s with the perversion regardless? She wondered. Men – they’re such simpletons despite the details laid out before them.
“Oi, I have a name ya know!” Camerin complained once more. “Anywho, what are the names of these other communities?” He asked still not quite sure.
“Well, there’s too many to names, but two examples are Noah’s Ark and Crusaders.”
“I’m surprised you know names of such great communities,” stated Kin’iro with apparent honesty. Who’d think that Katsumi cared about such lowlives? How surprising. Her words were filled with sarcasm, in reality.
A stifled laugh escaped Johnny’s throat before he asked, “Wow, what’s with those names? Sounds like they pulled them out of a bible.” He chuckled a bit before adding, “At least our community name sounds cool. †˜Militia Zodia’. Sounds more like serious business!”
“I wouldn’t laugh if I were you. They might be small communities, but their leaders are strong. If Noah, himself, heard you laugh you’ll probably find yourself on the ground with a sword on your neck.”
“Well, I sure am about to laugh at him now,” Kin’iro said, daringly, with a light giggle. It was, however, a mere joke. Not that she knew if this Noah person was truly even skilled to begin with.
"Ohohoho~ How frightening!" Camerin said wearing a defiant and sadistic smile on his face, he suddenly changed within the course of a few seconds. "This Noah chap sounds like the hot headed sort. Splendid! Let him try!" His malevolent side slipping out from the cracks of his damaged personality. A fang could be seen peeking out from his mouth.
“My, aren’t you hot-headed yourself, in your own way?” Kin’iro eyed the cat-eared boy innocently. She wondered if this person was always easily challenged. If so, he wouldn’t be so different from the vampire over there.
“Heh, only when provoked, madame.” Camerin responded as well-mannered as he ever been, his smile grew wider.
“Well, the event will take place in one week from now. I suggest you all practice and prepare. I shall also be showing you all around town tomorrow, today things came up so I won’t be able to.”
“Tch, more waiting?” responded Camerin a bit impatient. “The most excitement I’ve had here so far was my near death experience as I plummeted into this world. I hope this competition will be worthwhile.” He folded his arms and leaned back into his chair once more, placing his well shined shoes on top of the table, his bright red pupils closed to a glint.

So, I am posting in this thread to gather a consensus of who is working on an entry in order to get an idea of who is participating so we can assess the status of entries. Only d has submitted something, so I'm curious. There are currently 20 days left, so if you're a procrastinator like I am, this might be the time to get started so you don't overly push yourself when there are just a couple days left.
I am currently conceptualizing. I have not written anything, but the outline of my story is basically finished in my mind and I just need to write it.
Don't forget about the 2000 word limit, and good luck for everyone else participating.
Trying to make time for it. I want dat cash... but I just got FF14 gifted in my birthday... so yeah.
Let's just say 50% chance for me to enter it, I have a story idea in mind.
