"Huh!?" Jun caught a glimpse of another girl in the vicinity.. "Isn't that... Li-san? Why is she here, too!?" He urgently asked her "Do you know a way out of here? We've just been hiding around trying to avoid the chaos those two are creating. I don't think there's any way we can protect ourselves from that." He pointed in the direction of the fight.

"No time to explain!" Li shouted as she ran as hard as she could towards Hono and Jun. She frantically grabbed the hands of each and dragged them away as she practically screamed, "Just run, you idiots! RUN!"

"Ehhh!? Li-chan? What are you doing here??" Li held Hono's hand, and forcibly made him follow, not that he actually minded. He continued, "Why are you suddenly taking us away from this amazing fight? I'm kinda worried with the flame woman there. She's in a pinch!" Hono tried to explain while holding Li's soft little hands, So soft~.

"Ahh!" Jun yelped when he was suddenly pulled by Li. "Wait, what's going on? Are they getting closer again?" Jun looked back towards the fight, trying to see what caught Li's attention that caused her rushed reaction. They still seemed relatively far away, and the sounds of their battle ceased. "Is the fight over...?"

"Any last words?" asking that, Mugino's smile was gone, and replaced with a plain expression. However, one could tell that she was brimming with excitement as victory was almost at hand. Natsu looked up, and though that Mugino seemed quite elegant under the moon's silvery light, and thought that she should have a personality that takes better advantage of said elegance and beauty. Conversely, Mugino was thinking that Natsu looked best at crouching to the brown muddy ground with the moon's light gently resting on her. It seemed perfect, for some reason.

"Unfortunately, I've never given much thought about my last words," Mugino's face warped with fury, as Natsu's right hand faced the prideful Meltdowner, and clenched. Flames abruptly engulfed Mugino, resulting in an explosive sound resounding around the battlefield. Mugino screeched in heat and fear. What just happened... ? she thought. She was always careful not to let her flames catch her, then just what was going on? She couldn't see any incoming flames. Scientific rationality was not working in her mind at the dire situation. Frantically putting up her barrier conjured via her ability, she jumped and launched several rounds of her high-speed particle wave machine gun; effectively taking out the flames, then shot really tiny particle waves on portions of her cloths which were caught on fire.

Tch, how am I going to deal with that? Do I keep moving... no, I have to finish her off, just as she concluded her answer to the problem, she aimed her right palm towards Natsu, who suddenly started to glow with an orange hue. "... What?" she thought out loud, "Don't get ahead of yourself just because you're the new level 5. I'll finish you off now!" she declared, shooting with her particle wave machine gun, but it seemed that Natsu's legs had somewhat recovered, moving enough inches each time, to barely evade the attacks, just as she did when the fight started.

The orange light emanating from Natsu got brighter, and slowly dimmed. This repeated for some time, giving Mugino the premonition that she had to finish the fight before Natsu pulled her next trick off. Natsu wasn't fighting back, allowing Mugino to theorize that perhaps she can't attack when she's pulling off this particular trick. However, even with launching four beams at the same time, Natsu still managed to dodge, causing containers behind her to be destroyed. The contents of the container burst forth into the atmosphere around the two, making the wind dusty, but neither of the two had their eyesight effected. It's as if she has a sixth sense telling her how to survive each attacks, this agitated Mugino Shizuri to no end. The glow from Natsu's body got brighter, the Meltdowner instinctively felt danger and moved aback, deploying her defensive shield which can melt or disintegrate even steel, and took her stand.

"You sure you don't wanna run?"

"What did you just say?!"

"Exactly what I just said, I heard that they shipped in wheat flour today. They were being stored here... "

"So?!" but just as she instantly replied, something snapped at the back of her mind, making her eyes widen in shock of realization.

"Did you notice the weather tonight? It's barely windy. When your attacks broke certain cargo containers just now, it got... misty, wouldn't you say?"

"Then... " her eyes widened due to shock from coming to a realization.

"What just happened here?!" Touma exclaimed, looking at the mess the switchyard was in, the ground was crushed beyond recognition, burning flames could be seen almost in every direction, smoke fumed about, covering the night sky and the silvery light of the moon. "Something exploded... But what could have caused something of this scale?"

"I have no clue, but we should be getting to the hospital. Your friend doesn't look like she's alright!"

"You're right... she looks stragely out of it."

Sana's face was tinted bright red as blood flushed up to both her cheeks, apart from being rescued, she didn't expected to be carried like a princess. To her, it felt like a scene from one of the many fairy tales she read and performed in the past, "Thank you very much you two! I almost lost all hope... but I should be able to walk now, I don't want to be any more trouble to you two."

"A-Ah, okay, sorry for carrying you like that suddenly then," as Touma nervously said, he slowly put Minase Sana down from her arms, allowing her to stand on both her feet, Misaka said with anxiety, "Are you sure you're alright? You shouldn't push yourself."

"It's okay, I think my body somewhat recovered by now," she said, not completely sure herself. Attempting to take a couple of steps, she instantly went down on her knees, her muscles started to ache in pain. "Just what did that girl do... Sana couldn't remember the fall she took that was caused by the enemy who had a female voice, all she could remember was being on the ground, but had no clear memory of what occurred at that moment.

"Her legs gave out?" seeing Sana go down on her knees Misaka considered, Was she really simply restrained as we found her there? Or did other things happened before I even learned about her getting kidnapped?

Touma sighed, "So you're not alright after all!"

"Sorry about that I guess I'm more tired out than I thought," Sana said as she tried getting up again.

Touma ran over to the apparently tired girl, and held his hand out to help her get up, "Oi, Biribiri, up for giving a piggyback ride? She's your friend right, you should do at least that much!"

"O-Of course I can, it's not like I hate the fact that you gave her that kind of a ride or something! And don't call me 'Biribiri'!!" she spat out in one breath, with a furious expression, and looked at Sana with a smile, "Time for a ride from the Misaka express, you ready?"

Sana's face turned slightly red again from embarrassment about her current state, "I think I'm just worn out from using up my powers, if I could recharge it, maybe I'd be fine. Though, that's probably not possible."

"Actually it's possible, since we're fellow electromasters. If I send electricity via a current to your body, it should be possible. I don't think you'll be able to move around much after that, though. But I can do it anyway, if it makes you feel any better," Misaka offered.

"Well it wouldn't hurt to try, I just don't want to be a burden to you two."

"It doesn't hurt to rely on me, you know," Misaka replied, giving an assuring smile. "I'm gonna do that, then," her palm rested on Minase Sana's neck, an electrical current flew out, the wave slowly reaching into Minase Sana's entire body, from her brain, down to her toes. It most likely felt refreshing for her, due to getting energized. However, as Misaka performed this task, a voice rang out on her mind, and something flashed in her head, "Eh? A voice?" she suddenly said, out of bewilderment.

"Huh? What happened?" Touma asked, not particularly concerned since Misaka's expression didn't seem to give a bad vibe.

"Are these... memories of Minase-san's past?" this situation felt familiar. Then she remembered something that happened when she electricuted Kiyama Harumi in a battle with her, So... the electric current created a circuit that linked Minase-san's mind with mine, and so I'm seeing another person's memories again?

Flashes from different times appeared in Misaka's brain, with Minase Sana performing plays for her siblings, She really did have a lot of siblings... Misaka thought, but then something particularly bad popped up. Minase Sana tied up, one of her eye being injured. Then a different scene came up, Sana crying and promising that she'll become stronger, enough to protect Minase Tamaki. Misaka saw flashes of different times after that, like how her friend argued with her father to get permission to go to Academy City. Then the scene again flipped back to her past, where her eye was punched, the shock from seeing it actually happen instantly made Misaka let go of Minase Sana's neck.

Misaka was shocked, a cold sweat ran down by the side of her cheek, "W-What... was all that?!" she gulped, "Is that how you got heterochromia?"

Sana was surprised at Misaka's sudden question, she frantically tinkered about in her mind, exactly how she should reply. A cold sweat rolled by the side of her face as she drew a blank. Sana had always preferred to not talk about that dreadful incident, it was the scar of her heart. Everyone assumed that she was born this way, and didn't bring it up as they thought it's a subject of taboo to her. She was accustomed to people thinking like that about her, it was more comforting than having people assume that she was the victum of a kidnapper. She liked it better that way, not having to talk about something so painful. Having set foot in Academy City to become someone strong, strong enough to protect one who is most important to her; the little sister she so cherished - Minase Tamaki. She had yet to achieve her goal even now, as she herself got kidnapped in this situation. Sana repeatedly opened and closed her mouth, as if about to speak something out, but unable to. Biting her lower lip, she braced herself as she spewed whatever came to mind, "What are you talking about, Misaka-san?" she said, with a contorted smile, as sweat drooped at her chin, "I was born like this!" nervously ending her sentence, her brain processed the very sound of the droplet of her sweat that landed on the brown ground.

Misaka straightened herself, repressed her surprised expression, and made sure to give the same smile she did earlier, prepared to feign ignorace, as she realized that she shouldn't dig up on her friend's deep wound, putting her hand behind her back, she replied in a care-free type manner, brushing aside whatever she just saw, while Touma's glare made it evident that Misaka was just hiding her true expression, "A-Ah! Is that sooo?! W-Well anyway, let's go, we're kinda late and way off the curfew time anyway, and we need to get you in a hospital too!! Do you think you're charged up enough now?"

Feeling horrible from lying, and remembering the incident, Sana wondered why exactly Misaka asked such a question, Did she see something while performing that charge up... ? It can't be a coincidence that she'd just suddenly say that... but Sana knew, this wasn't the time to be thinking about something like that, she thought that maybe when it was just her and Misaka alone, she could ask, "Yeah, my body feels energized now, I think I should be able to walk now," Sana said as she tried to smile, but as soon as she tried standing up, she could feel her muscles ache again, "I guess it wasn't cause I used up my pow-' she spoke with her husky voice, and coughed.

"How long has her throat been dry?!" Touma shouted out, from the way it seemed, she couldn't even speak properly, just what kind of a terrible treatment did those kidnappers give? Touma frowned.

Misaka then forcibly picked up Minase Sana, "Then it's Misaka express it is! Hold on tight, Minase-san!"

"Misaka-senpai, can you please not tell Tama-chan about what happened to me please?" Sana whispered in a low tone to Misaka's ears, not being able to speak much anymore, to which Misaka simply smiled and nodded, "Mnm!"

The silvery moonlight gently bathed over her short blond hair, and as well as her uniform which contained her white short-sleeved shirt, gray skirt, and a black coat cloaking her upper overalls. Her blue eyes seemed to be shining with something else; excitement. The silver shine around her body started to abruptly turn orange; fiery. Hono and Jun watched curiously from a distance, were they flames, or just their eyes playing with them? As if she herself was silently burning, Kihara Natsu stood out in the field with the combination of lights engulfing her. She was preparing for her party, which may be so hot that her cloths would be drenched in sweat, making her uniform underneath the coat transparent.

"Geez, she's getting fired up..." Jun whispered to Hono. Natsu had a fiery aura around her, one so hot that Jun felt like he could feel the intense heat even from the distance he put between her, "What is she doing...?" he mumbled. She seems very hostile, though...

"Yeah, and she's scary in a weird kind of way." Hono replied. She's letting out an intense heat. It's like she's being serious, and the weird part is that she's like a different person than the time at the room, he shivered, remembered about the past event at the school.

It seemed that Natsu was facing someone. But Hono and Jun didn't realize till she spoke out, So you're the one that they told me to beat?! she shouted out, "You sure have a lot of guts challenging me!" her voice was packed with fury and wrath, making Hono and Jun shudder in surprise. A girl with a tall and slender figure stood a distance away from Kihara Natsu. Natsu couldn't tell if she was enraged or simply excited to fight. She had soft tea-coloured hair, even though she wore a pink one-piece - which had a black lining under her bosom - along with long black knee-socks and a pair of white boots. She was - Meltdowner - Mugino Shizuri. She continued, "You, taking my spot? What a joke," she declared. Two green balls of light formed around her.

Mirth appeared across Natsu's expression, "So they did tell her a story she'd fancy," she thought out loud, "You sure know how to press their buttons, grandfather," she remarked. Two beams of green light were launched towards Natsu. Natsu jumped, fiery bits could be seen, but what mostly lied below her shoes were steam, it was a fiery high-jump, made in an attempt to dodge the attack, Natsu failed to execute the actual jump in time, but she ascended enough to avoid the attack. Another beam came straight to her face while she was in mid-air, but Natsu simply pulled her head to the right, effectively avoiding the brain-melting attack.

The beams of light continued until they struck another object; in this case, a cargo container and the side of a service garage. Both were quickly and utterly demolished by the light's destructive properties. Hono and Jun were speechless after seeing this, and sought a safer location to observe from, so that a stray beam wouldn't as likely cause harm to them in any way. They settled on a higher location on the stairwell.

What the hell!? There is such an ability?! How is that possible?! Hono's jaws dropped upon witnessing such a bizzare sight. Beams of light summoned by a person, My days here is getting weirder day by day, but then again, if these kind of people get out of this place and enter the world, god knows what will happen... Hono was drowned in his thoughts.

Natsu wore a smirk, Mugino wore a frown and frustrated face, she was eager to finish her off as soon as possible. "A pleasure to meet you, Meltdowner, I've heard a lot about you, I'm Kihara Natsu," Natsu calmly introduced herself, keeping the stretching of her lips to a minimum; giving a gentle smile. Mugino cracked a smile, "I've heard a lot about you, too, Time Flare. Mugino Shizuri... not that you need to know, since you're about to be down soon!" as she said, Natsu landed, and came another rounds of beams towards her, which she dodged with rather fluid parries, which only added chunks of rage and anger to Mugino. There was not a single speck of worry written over Natsu's expressions - displaying perfect calmness.

"Wait, 'Meltdowner'? She's the 4th most powerful level 5!?" Jun commented after a brief pause in the fight. More beams were launched, prompting Jun to take cover, despite Meltdowner's attacks going nowhere near where he was. They simply passed underneath the bridge.

"Wait what?! That's a level 5? not to mention that she's the 4th most powerful!? Oh come on! I was only going to do my job here, not watch a fight between titans of the town!" Hono said with his eyes glued to said 'Meltdowner' and scratched the back of his head. I must be dreaming.

Two more beams were launched towards Natsu. A conversion of electrons into unstable destructive matter that is said to be in a state between particles and waves, is what Mugino's power was. Natsu moved out enough to be out of the trajectory of her attacks and raised her palm towards Mugino, releasing fire balls. Natsu's power was simple ignition. This is done by raising molecules via telekinesis in order to actually ignite, unlike Mugino, there was no clear limits to the usage of her powers, although she had to do calculations to keep herself from being burned whenever she faces fire touching her, which she only tends to think as a 'troublesome task' in a calm manner. This still proves that Natsu is not completely immune to fire herself, but she can make it seem as though her immunity to fire is fact itself.

Realizing the incoming attack, Mugino quickly halted her beams, then shot away her Meltdowner towards the fireballs, which easily pierced through them and landed upon a cargo. She then launched more of her beams behind her, without even looking back; taking down more fireballs. But then she saw a fiery hand in front of her face, punching her down.

"Woah, whoa! Did Kihara-san get her?" Jun saw Natsu land a punch on Meltdowner, knocking her over. The fight was exhilarating to watch for him. He was so intent to see what was happening during this fight that he ran lower down the stairs in order to determine the situation more easily, while still trying to maintain a reasonable distance and remaining in a higher location than the two.

"Senpai, don't!" Hono yelled at his senior telling him not to get down. He didn't see any signs of him coming back and followed him down carefully.

A beam shot out towards the sky, which immediately had Natsu's figure moving aback; retreating slightly. Mugino slowly got up, shaking with rage. Infuriated, another ball of light appeared around her, and they continuously shot beams towards Natsu, who coolly parried and jumped around to dodge the attacks, all the while wearing a smirk. A ball bruise mark could be seen on Mugino's face, her beauty somewhat ruined. However, she didn't care much about beauty, what she cared about more was her pride being hurt by the punch. A beam came straight towards Jun's face, but Natsu silently pulled him to her chest, and leading him down the stairs completely, then jumped backwards, "Audience always keeps a fair distance, you know. Watching from sidelines instead of behind is a better idea, wouldn't you agree?" but she then looked up and pondered, "But then she might kill you guys anyway, seeing you two as a hindrance, or use you two as hostages or something. When that happens, I'm not saving you two!"

Hono saw the unexpected rescue. "What the hell?! When did she knew that he was going down?" Hono quickly ran down and searched for a safe spot not behind the fighting level 5s. He saw 3 containers stacked and remain unscratched from the fight. He ran behind it and peeked at his seniors.

Jun wasn't sure if he should feel grateful to Natsu for saving him and letting his head rest in her chest, or scared out of his wits, since, now, he's literally between two Level 5s fighting all out against each other. "Well, I preferred my spot up there... I liked the overhead view..." he nervously replied to Natsu.

He looked in the direction of Meltdowner. She was a rather beautiful woman, though she wore a very angry expression. Oh, my goodness, she's definitely pissed off... Sensing great peril, Jun clenched his teeth as he backed away from Natsu, praying that in her rage, Meltdowner would only target her, giving him time to find another safe location. Where would I go, though? Anywhere down here is dangerous while their still fighting, and it seems risky to be anywhere near those stairs now... Jun scanned the switchyard for any place where he could be out of the way of Natsu and Meltdowner.

"Senpai, over here!" Hono waved at his senior telling him to come over behind three stacks of large containers.

Just as Natsu was about to make a move, "I'll keep her distracted, get a move on," she advised, then sped forward; sprinting towards the Meltdowner. a beam came straight towards her face, but she only had to duck to save herself, resulting in Natsu almost succeeding in punching Mugino's pretty face yet again, but she didn't dare to let herself fall for the same move, and moved back, the array of beams felt endless. It seemed that the battle would drag out for quite some time, as Natsu mostly parried, and tried to move forward, but Mugino kept taking more distance while firing away her relentless attacks.

Jun heeded Natsu's advice. Once she started trading blows with Meltdowner again, he began sprinting towards Hono's location. When he reunited with Hono, he asked him "Did you happen to find a way out of here, as well?" While this area was away from the action, Jun still didn't feel safe. "Man, if she hits one of these containers, it could just fall over and crush us, if her attack doesn't just get us outright..." He kept looking up cautiously at the stack of containers Hono just lead him to.

"Ahahaha, don't worry senpai. If the attack did hit here, all those beams will hit all 3, or maybe just two. I'm sure that the beam lady will only focus on our flame lady," Hono looked at the two while opening his canteen in his back pocket, in case something happens.

Natsu took flight. Constantly releasing fire from below her shoes, it's as if her shoes were equipped with high-tech equipments used for rockets. Mugino's beams were thrown at her direction nonetheless, she only viewed Natsu as a sneaky pest, not intending to believe that her spot as the #4 level 5 esper in the Academy City may be replaced soon by her. What Mugino couldn't understand was this very situation. Why were the two set up to fight each other in the first place? The location itself for the battlefield made sense. It had the least of people, albeit for some reason she could see two viewers, but she cared less, she could take care of them later. What concerned her what Natsu's erratic movements. The most she did was move around, was there a merit to that?

She shouted to the flying-Natsu, "What are you up to?! Stop running and get in here!" as she barked, her destructive beams were launched over and over. On the other hand, Natsu simply wore her ecstatic smile and flew over to a totally different direction; moving behind her. She wouldn't gain an upper hand Mugino could simply turn around and continue her ruthless round of attacks, she definitely held the upper hand.

What bothered Mugino was that it seemed like Natsu was holding back, rather, it's as if she was buying time. Meltdowner cringed due to her ignorance towards her ability, but kept up her angry expression. Perhaps Natsu would pull off a powerful blow, but needed time to prepare it, There has to be a reason she's called the -Time- Flare, huh? she thought, with a grin, Then all I have to do is kill her while I can!

Flipping out a silicon card from her pocket, she tossed it into the air - giving rise to a confounded expression on Natsu's charismatic facial features - then raised her right palm; targeting the card, "Silicon burn!" and activated her high-speed particle wave machine gun, which was instantly divided into many small beams of destruction that spread out, covering a vast range; lightening up the sky as many of the slimmer beams spread wider and went on in the sky.

Natsu gritted her teeth, covering her chest with her arms, she burned with fire that cloaked herself for protection; a human on fire, but she soon came falling down, "That took care of you and your ability to activate your power. Two birds with one stone, perhaps?" she haughtily looked down on the injured Natsu, who seemed to be wet with crimson liquids. Droplets of thick, red blood fell from her arms that took most of the damage. Natsu faced down towards the earth, Mugino couldn't contain her smile upon seeing the sight, assuming that Natsu was hiding her face that contained a scared expression which her cowardice disallowed her to show. However, what Natsu was hiding wasn't a ruined pretty face, nor a teary-faced expression, but a smile that unintentionally cracked.

As night fell, Li wandered closer to the Switchyard while remaining wary of any potential dangers. She looked across the vast urban jungle of uniform shipping containers and crisscrossing train tracks with a little uneasiness given the lack of human activity. Then an explosion followed by smoke and debris rose up within the Switchyard. "What the heck is that...?" Li thought aloud as she worked her way into the Switchyard properly and followed one of the rails toward the source of the explosion. As she closed in, several more explosions and what appeared to be searing beams could be seen around a section of the Switchyard.

Then she reached a clearing, littered with shipping containers, a number of which were heavily damaged or destroyed outright, as she saw two women engaged in esper combat. She didn't recognize the tall woman who seemed to have just fired a scatterbeam of sorts at the other woman, who defended herself with an 'armor' of fire. It wasn't until she fell back down to the ground, bloodied and her fire dispersed that Li recognized her as Kihara Natsu. It was obvious that Misaka Mikoto wasn't in the area, but the sight of these esper powerhouses caused Li to freeze a bit in surprise and a bit of awe. While Natsu's opponent gloated at the downed Natsu, Li felt a vague sense or aura of danger emanating from Natsu. I've got a really bad feeling about this, Li thought uneasily as she started to move away. Then she saw two familiar male students standing by a nearby set of containers.
