D) If it was such a case by case ordeal, again, why aren't we using swords in combat? Obsolete things are obsolete for a reason because they are no longer valid/practical to use in an environment that is always technologically advancing. If any army/force were to use swords in combat, they'd be laughed at by the international community without impunity because it's that dumb.

And who says China isn't still a totalitarianistic communist government? This more recent news just says to me that China's government needs a serious makeover, and if they were doing things more smart, they'd be at the top of the world in no time.

@Waar: if anything, ZiggyOtaku points out that lollollol12 goes out of his way to antagonize people deliberately, which calls for action regardless since he did it here as well. At FAKKU!, there are rules and MOST users have common sense so that this entire site doesn't break down to 4chan chaos, but I don't see anyone else calling each other the n-word simply because we can. Unless the thread is about racism in the SD section, there should be no place for such language in the forums at all.

@theotaku: I'm making the analogy here that if the only thing about anime was that it visually appealed to the audience, Disney would be just as and even more famous than the anime series we know and love. There's more to anime than just visuals, a point I keep stressing.

I highly doubt that would work... and in any case, the female zombie might have more of an inclination to bite you than anything else.

@Arizth: I find it the opposite: I'd prefer to be in close quarters unless out in the plain ol' country. Thing about being in the open is that you are easy prey for when the zombie horde acts up and tries to surround you. Being in the open will get you killed, and killed fast.

And you're really deadset against the shotgun... despite my reasoning. Aiming at a zombie with a shotgun should be centered on the chest region, which will either result with a chest shot that will guarantee a spine blowout or the recoil shifts your aim higher resulting in a headshot - don't see the problem of getting bitten by crawler since they're obviously dead.

I'm sure that there are other weapons that provide worse recoil than the shotgun, and maybe because I'm building my muscles that I'm accustomed to heavy things, I can't imagine a shotgun weighing more than 8.5lbs fully chambered. Plus, more modern shotguns are purposely designed to have less recoil than the older models.

I'm not saying that your arguments are invalid, but in close-quarters/close-combat against zombies where aiming can fail you (depending on the user), my pick would be the shotgun. In any other case, the ARs and sniper/hunting rifles would be my pick. More often than not, the shotgun is probably the most popular weapon on hand next to a semi-auto pistol. Availability-wise, a shotgun is handy and it works, just not for distance.

@Gentlepervert: I do agree that kung-fu is one of the most versatile martial arts there is out there, but I also tend to think that many of its moves are very flashy and all in all does little damage to the opponent. (Then again, the roots of kung-fu existed to disarm and disable the opponent, not to deal fatal blows.) Out of the moves you mentioned, I feel that 1, 2, and 7 are useful while 5 sounds like a regular hook with a step-in.

However, kung-fu can be devastating with precision and speed, something that can be achieved through years of training and conditioning, and something like poking someone's eyes out is a totally valid tactic.

I thought that ended up being a practical joke last time I read about it.

While I agree that citizens should have the right to bear arms, I don't think it should be at the level where people should worry about the government breathing down their necks, nor should civilians worry about getting firearms beyond their reach when there's no need.

The M-16 variant for public sale is the AR-15. (The M4 is not)
FN P90 also has a civilian version as well.
I don't think the Dragonuv SVD is available for public sale.
As for the Barret M82... what are you trying to do, shoot down vehicles and personnel over a mile away? Definitely not for public sale.

@theotaku: so regular cartoons are better? I know Disney cartoons are drawn pretty well, but they can't compare to anime, and it isn't the animation style.

I've never heard of a person NOT lose weight from excercising at a constant pace. I'm a hardcore workout person, and I know because I see the results at home with my electronic scale accurate to the tenths place of a pound.

Dude, with that amount of amount money, I could buy a top quality katana and with extra money to spare to buy guns (shotgun, assault rifle, sniper, pistols) ammo, and gear.

No fan of gunpla would ever waste their money on that unless they were HARDCORE and mad rich to boot.
