I glanced at a couple, but I'm wondering how many of it is true. Out of, 20 guy facts, only less than half sounded remotely true... and I wouldn't even know where to begin with the girl facts.
@Waar: I suppose. But I find it weird that a lot of people don't particularly like bondage as Japan is literally the creative innovators of shibari, the art of tying. It's so much part of Japanese sex culture that I can't believe not many people appreciate it. I'll probably leave this poll to hang for a day, though I'm already thinking of uploading my stuff.

I personally prefer the M-14 or AR-15You meant the M4.
@kinsake:
1. yes it does
2. same reason as 1
3. unlimited slashes? Dude, do you even know how heavy a katana is? It isn't something that you can swing around indefinitely and your arms will tire.
4. I'd rather take you out with a shotgun from 10 yards then try and close in with a katana with a range of 8 feet at best. (arms + sword length)
1. Gundam SEED series
2. G Gundam
3. Gundam 00 series
4. Gundam MS 08th Team
5. Gundam Wing
Yea, I didn't like the UC stuff... the drama was so overdone and I couldn't stand the boredom. I gave up ZZ Gundam after 10 episodes of nonaction, and I cringe at the thought of wasting my time on Z Gundam.

Japan will not disappoint, I can assure you that. My time spent in Japan (five days) was totally worth it, and I wish I can spend more time there. Sure, anything from anime is almost total BS when it comes to reality, but I've studied up on a lot of Japanese culture, watched enough live-actions and TV shows and heard enough anecdotes to figure out what Japan is really like. Least to say, I went to Japan to enjoy it and I did, much like Syn3rgetic did.
Like ShaggyJebus mentioned, I always thought that the "Post Reply" function in the PM would quote the previous PM's response into the new PM window for easier reference. I would definitely like that to be implemented or something of similar fucntion reinstated.
Knowledge is relative - what you perceive as useful fact may not be what another person believes it to be, keyword believes. Sure, we've been indoctrinated by the school systems of whatever nation you're from, and honestly, who the heck is going to need to know that Mesopotamia was one of the earliest and greatest empires in the Middle East to ever exist from world history class? Unless you were a historian or had a passion for Middle Eastern culture, most people don't care and wouldn't bother committing it to memory. Knowledge is what we make it out to be - it's there waiting to be used by whomever and for whatever purpose.
@ShaggyJebus: Honestly, I can give a shit if others perceive the knowledge ancient literature as a hold over me - I live in the real world, and you tell me where you can make decent money by knowing ancient literature. I use whatever knowledge I need to know to live and survive and to enjoy myself, and this is especially true once you step out of the classroom and into the real world where irrelevant facts will become forgotten.

@Waar: I'm sure if you caught it, but Mike stated his reasons for deleting your posts back in the thread(s) in Random.

Its a tough decision because a katana or rifle is best for different kinds of situations, but I'd have to say I would go with the katana.1. You don't have to worry about ammo.
2. Can possibly reflect bullets like in some shows.
3. Will never go dull and will stay clean if used correctly.
4. Can cut off limbs and create major havoc. =P
1. AMMO IS A SMALL PRICE TO PAY TO BE ABLE TO KILL AT A RANGE OF OVER 5 FEET
2. LOL
3. WRONG
4. MORE HAVOC THAN A GUN? YA RITE.
SERIOUSLY DOODS, DONT PICK KATANA AND ATTEMPT TO JUSTIFY YOUR DECISION FOR ANYTHING MORE THAN NOVELTY
For once, I have to agree with lollol1oll2 since every counterpoint he raises is true.
As for a katana splitting a bullet in half, it's true, it can break in half, but that's only if the sharp side is directly facing the gun's line of fire.
And let's think it about realisticly guys. If katanas were so fucking 1337, why don't modern armies use them? They don't because they aren't practical. I mean, they are 1337, but they aren't meant for modern combat anymore.
What's ironic is that the creator of this thread completely disappeared since the first page of this thread. I guessing he couldn't take the atheism and science behind the user's well-written explanations.
Lol, that presidential satire of hentai made me chuckle... but she doesn't really look like Hilary than just another generic anime woman.

what an odd poll, both options are positive responses... forcing people to post to give a negative opinion... well anyways, i'm not a fan of watching bondage(i enjoy light b irl) but i can simply avoid your thread so I dont see an issue, Fakku can always use more material.I actually meant to create a third option with, "Don't bother, you're wasting your time," but I must've forgotten to press the "update" link and the third choice didn't register. (Dumb me) So if anyone believes otherwise, they can post a "no" in this thread. And trust me, I won't bite - I honestly want to know how the community feels about bondage-related hentai, especially because uploading requires time and effort.
As the topic title suggests, what is everyone's favorite fighting style? This ranges from hand to hand combat and weapon combat. (Guns excluded) I figure that many people at FAKKU! like to fight or know how to fight, so this is your chance to tell others what you know and why you think it's the best fighting style.
For me, I'm leaning towards a mixed martial arts style (in line with Jeet Kune Do school of thought) focused on boxing and Chinese Kung-fu/Japanese Kenpo. I don't practice much of kung-fu/kenpo, but I know some techniques. I'm a person who wants to get in and deal enough damage to the opponent to take him out of the count. Boxing is something that will give power to my punches while kung-fu/kenpo will give variety to my fighting style, from kicks to punches to hand blows to elbow strikes to counter strikes and throws. It is said that kung-fu/kenpo is the progenitor of all martial arts, and I certainly believe that due to the vast amount of technique. Btw, I don't believe in "chi attacks" that deals internal damage, otherwise I'd be able to shoot a hadoken and kamehameha wave.
So, what's your favorite fighting style and why? This thread is designed for complete open discussion on the various martials arts that exist out there in the world.
