I consider NGE to be a benchmark in the history of anime, because after it aired, anime took a turn in a different direction, most likely for the better. (Though more recent series aren't exciting as some of the older series...)

Excercise is fine. Anorexia as in THE condition? Oughta go to a shrink if you're anorexic. Anorexia is the worst way to go about losing weight, and honestly, you're depriving yourself the energy (calories) and necessary nutrients (vitamins, protein, enzymes) that your body needs. Cutting back the food amount and watching what you're eating is fine, but anorexia isn't a solution - it's a problem.

Many points were covered, but honestly, being atheist/agnostic does NOT equate to disloyalty or no marriages. Me? I'm a romantic kind of guy, so the "religious" kind of marriage wouldn't stop me from marrying someone I loved. And like HentaiElder mentioned, I'm a very loyal and honest person, which are important in any relationship, especially something as binding as marriage.

I don't think people learn martial arts to scare people off unless pressured or in danger him/herself. Hell, if I wanted to scare someone off, I'd just build up more muscles and be like, "Don't touch this shit."

Boxing tends to be very popular, but it's greatest weakness is its lack of kicking, which is why kickboxing and Muay Thai are better rounded martial arts than boxing. Then again, Muay Thai was designed to kill people with its use of joint attacks. Kicking on the other hand will always generate more force than a punch, roughly three times I believe. Unfortunately, it is easy to anticipate and dodge kicks as most people aren't proficient at kicking fast, so that's another point to consider I suppose.

True, and we got to see the various uses of Gundams on the Earth's surface, which kind of brought a sense of realism to the Gundams as something that isn't invincible where dust can fuck up a Gundam in no time at all.

I also enjoyed the romance in the story. Aina's hot.

Dude, there are so many ways to disarm an armed opponent if it isn't a gun. And while a guy might be bluffing with a gun, if he isn't, you're going to be dead faster than you can lift a katana up.

Guyver was awesome, and that giga-smasher? Fucking ownage there.

I'm just saying. Even intro AMVs for AMV contests are well done with music, words, and images that make the background. I can't think of the name, but it was awesome for something so short.

Btw, Bamass123, that first vid you posted (not saying it's yours but,) was lacking in background content, and that's a big drawback in any AMV.

@Mr. Bushido: I didn't think anyone would put 08th MS Team as one of their Gundam favorites. Hat's off to you.

I'm with Tsurayu here. I'm still going to buy the game regardless. The only things I don't approve of is the frying pan, incendiary bullets, and that Charger which looks fucked up. Other than that, I think the game they set up is great.

Another thing about anime - it depicts things in life that would never happen in most cases. It depicts fantasies and dreams and aspirations of the human mind, something that reality often shunts away.

Then there's the animation aspect which ties into the fact that it's something perfect and inconceivable in the real world, which humans of all ages relate to.

It's more like we are born inherently pure; as we get older, the drive to survive takes over as well as surrounding/circumstancial factors that affect us.
