@animeholic1: I wouldn't mind that, except I don't have a scanner, and I'm not aware of any public scanners in my college.
Put it this way: what's the percentage of users who actually take the time to necrobump compared to just creating a new thread?
I think more people just create more threads than necrobump, and so necrobumping (being a rare thing) shouldn't be any problem unless a troll's out to fuck with others.

Haha, don't get me wrong; I never said that I'd actually do it, only that I can do it. I'm pretty busy with college stuff, and I haven't drawn in ages. But hey, I endorse the idea. I figure since most people would be too shy to give up a photo of them in real life, I suggest go for a stylized anime characterization based on avatar or preferences.
Well, since a katana standing still can withstand a 9mm bullet from what it looks like, a moving katana shouldn't have a problem slicing a bullet in half either. Because the katana is so sharp and made well (if), moving such a blade would only cut the bullet faster I think.
I think they found the feature unnecessary and so they disabled it, at least from what I can remember when I brought this up in the Feedback and suggestions section.
Call me ungrateful, but I can do this sort of thing myself being an artist myself. But, what the hell, go for it.
To be honest, this was why I wanted the admins to reinstate the memberlist, thereby letting users see who has the most posts, reps, date joined, most active in ___ section, and such.
Perhaps a video on the history of FAKKU? Something other than member introduction since Waar pretty said what I wanted to say.

1. Humiliate him/her through any means necessary, e.g. blackmail or exposure
2. Punish him/her through any means necessary, e.g. physical torture, mental attacks,
3. Harass him/her through any means necessary, e.g. personal property damage, phyiscal harassment
Death would defeat the purpose of revenge, don't you think?

I think it's rather hard to find a person that's repped solely on what he or she posts instead of uploads or some sort of creation. One example would be me since I rarely upload anything since a shitload of stuff is bittorrent anyways. Other examples would be theJesus, theotaku, klorofolun, ShaggyJebus, Waar, etc. etc. It's people who get repped on what they say than share get's my respect, not that others who upload/share don't, but it just means that I can respect an user with lower rep on the same level as an uploader with more rep.
@AJ27: I think you mean it's in human nature to survive. Fighting comes out of overpopulation and rising living standards. Humans are on a whole a communal society, and while we fight as much as there are stars in the sky, I don't think humans fight because we want to, but it stems from a will to survive and the conditions we surround ourselves with.
@discordia: did you read Ender and Bean series by Orson Scott Card? because I swear I was thinking along the same lines that the only way we'll get peace is if something threatens mankind's existence as whole, like a foreign threat originating from the universe.

@nacho's video: oh shit, that's a huge difference in speed when lit on fire in the campaign mode... I'll keep that in mind if I'm going to molotov a Tank.

Morality and Ethics are beyond the point here. Do you honestly believe that we (human beings) would have continued to exist while keeping true to such principles 100% of the time? We may have implemented rules in our society, but just how many times have we bended those? We even have a saying such as "Rules are meant to be broken."I think morality and ethics are a significant point of discussion because if we didnt' have issues of whats right and wrong, then the death note would just be another justifiable tool to kill people. The series explores Kira's usage of the death note and the motives behind his actions. The common citizens think he's just in killing off criminals and other bad characters in society. Others in the populace thought him as a person on a high-horse, like who died and made him boss? Then there are those in the law-enforcement who think of him as a threat to mankind as a unidentifiable and uncompromising power that has the ability to kill you whenever and wherever. I take my stance with the law-enforcement on the issue that such a powerful tool like the death note is too dangerous to exist in society. By not having such a murder tool in our physical world, this kind of morality and ethics issues surrounding the death note would be moot.

About the "imminent doom" you've mentioned; that's the inevitable fate of all humanity. We're bound to meet "it" sooner or later, with or without a death note. - There shouldn't be much of a difference at all. What I meant by imminent doom, I meant that having a tool in the hands of human beings would only hasten our death even further as a species. Imagine a person or a group of people having access to a murder tool like the death note - I would surely believe that society would be fucked over and everything would change. And add the fact that people would be dying left and right, and even people fighting to take posession over such a tool - death note is not only death, but it also represents power, and an unnecessary one.
You're actually right, tsuyoshiro. Shinobi are like the stealth and invisible faction of ninjas.
Do you think that there are any female ninjas these days? And even if there were ninjas, I've never seen one.

I'm pretty sure that's from the series called Himawari, about a girl who trains to become a great ninja (or shinobi to be politically correct). Here's a link for more info: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=6160
Since I'm at college, I use a program called DC++ to download stuff other than limited usage of bittorrent. Some user on DC++ had the movie, and like you guys suspected, it was cam quality so it wasn't exactly crystal clear. Nevertheless, I couldn't even stand watching that shit, every scene made me wanna hurl, so I ended up fastforwarding it.
Some words to express my feelings in regards to this movie: lame. dumb. shit. bad acting. worse lines. no development. wtf. waste of time. rage.
