This has also been outlined in the Rules/FAQs sticky in the Feedback and Suggestions section. I'll paste the questions here:
How do I get FAKKU Elite status? FAKKU Elder status?
To gain Elite status, you must have 500 posts. For Elder status, you must have 1000 posts. These numbers are subject to change at administrative discretion as the forum grows.
What about the other FAKKU titles, excluding staff positions (admin, moderator)?
FAKKU Uploader: The Uploader status is a special status given to exceptional users who we feel have contributed material to the site immensely, whether it be in the image section or uploads of doujins, manga, games, and/or anime, over a long period of time. And yes, this means the uploader status is higher than the elite status.
FAKKU Artist: This rare title is awarded to outstanding artists on FAKKU who have contributed over a period of time. If you would like this title, PM an admin (Jacob, Raze, or I) for consideration.
FAKKU Subber/Scanlator: Members of the sub/scan team. These are the people who work very hard to bring you our translated releases. In terms of influence, this rank is the highest outside the Admin rank.

Look up at my edit for a better link.
As for tying up your girlfriend, this can only be accomplished by mutual trust. Termed "love bondage", it's the ideal of all bondage. Depending on the level of trust, you can persuade her into bondage, but if you do persuade her, start small: wrist tying, spread-eagle tied to bed, crotch rope. This can be combined with a light cleave gag and/or blindfold. The advanced stuff comes later bro.
edit: Also, before getting into bondage, have a look at a wiki Bondage safety article: http://www.londonfetishscene.com/wipi/index.php/Bondage:_Safety
The most important thing about love bondage is that your partner feels secure in her restraints, and totally trusts the roper. Safe words are a must because if there is real physical discomfort, you need to know as soon as possible.

I'd like to try it myself, but unfortunately I don't have the rope or a girl to try it on. Here's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shibari
It's worth checking out the background history of Japanese rope tying, and wikipedia provides links to other sites that it used for reference.

Now I know why you wanted a translation.
How about Edo period, or the Bakamatsu? (15th to 18th century) I'm guessing it's Feudal Japan, which is from the 12th century to the 19th century, Kamakura Period to the Meiji Restoration. For reference, Rurouni Kenshin takes place during the Meiji Restoration, but Kenshin's history came from the Bakamatsu, the final ending years of the Edo period. Samurai Champloo is very anachronistic, but if I had to place a period, it would be Edo period minus the foreigners and guns.
It's important to establish the setting, which includes the time period. Details surrounding scenery, architecture, society, etc. are reflected in the time period even if the story is fantasy. It sounds like this story is centered in a Japan-like setting, so even if time isn't given, knowing your history will give your story that much more credibility and surrealism.

@AT9: Very nice, but the reason why I stayed away from the computer programming field is because that kind of service is being offshored and outsourced as we speak. Plus, both my parents are programmers, and in light of the recent economy, people in the IT sector are getting laid off left and right.
@Teclo: RAWR! Just kidding. I'm sure they'd get the meaning behind "mahoujin" - I would.
On another note, your PM was duly noted, though I thought moderators could mod the entire forum. Guess not.

You mean romaji, or just the English spelling? Either way, I think the word you're looking for is "Mahou-tsukai" or "Maji-shitsuji". The second one is more like "Magician" than mage in that sense.
A CPA. (Certified Public Accountant.) I'm currently studying to reach that goal, and I find accounting to be pretty interesting when you get down and gritty with it. It's starting annual base salary is $52,000, which was also majorly influenced my decision to become a CPA. Since all companies need to be reviewed by a CPA as mandated by the U.S. government, I wouldn't be working for a sole client but multiple ones. Though the accounting firm I would work at is something I will research myself when I get nearer to taking the CPA exam, which won't be for another 4 years or so.

and I hope other members can read this and try to understand the hardships of a translation patch and their team.:D
True, very true. It also involves finding all the tree path diagram of the game.
Well, you could research the singer what genre he/she/they sing since that's how the Music Master list is set up. But it's up to the users actively updating the list. (not me.)

well you should probably try and make a version with as little commentary, etc. as possible for new people who just want to get the basics down quickly. If you're just looking at the Rules themselves and not anything else, it's more or less 1 & 1/2 pages. The rest you can skip. However, this is all hypothetical and subject to correction. The FAQs themselves are debatable by nature and needed comments. The first revision and third revision are just part of the entire deal that I think should be given attention. But since you insist, I'll create a version just for the Rules/FAQs with little commentary and explanation as possible. I stress that the problem isn't just the Rules/FAQs themselves, but what we should do with them. This way it'll solve thinking and planning on the staff side.
Here's just Rules/FAQs only: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2zzkmmwziwr
@Arren: Either help me, and by helping me you're helping FAKKU, or don't.
It's not 5 pages of rules. Let me break it down before anyone else bites me. It's not just a new Rules/FAQs page, it's a revision plan, and the bulk of it is the Rules/FAQs page along with explanations from me and other comments.
Table of Contents:
I. First revision – the about page and FAKKU’s philosophy
II. Second revision – the Rules/FAQ page
III. Third revision – changes regarding all other section/subforum stickies
I. First revision: 1/2 page.
II. Second revision: 4 & 1/2 pages - Rules 1 & 1/2 pages, FAQs 2 & 1/2 pages, other 1/2 page are my explanations and comments.
III. Third revision: 1/2 page.

Okay, here it is, my plan for revisions at FAKKU and a new Rules/FAQs page in a 2003 Word document, totaling 5 & 1/3 pages: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?hztmmrzzdfy
I know I'm missing some important FAQs or other rules and whatnot, but my mind is fried right now and I promised I get this out by today. Any revisions/feedback/comments/criticism, either PM me or post here. As far as I can tell, my plan is far from perfect, and the third part requires more active volunteers. Also in the document, the red brackets next to FAQs indicate that those FAQs that need some consideration and discussion.

Dude, noob is trying to figure out the controls while playing the game with others. (Yes, the one game with Tsujoi, Mike, and Yushi) And throwing a pipe bomb at a witch thinking that, "Ooh, looks stronger than puny molotov! It'll wipe her out!"
... that was me. Of course after a couple of times I got used to the game like a pro.
