Don't just post, "This is in the wrong section," PM a mod or report the thread. Mods and admins alike tend to overlook a lot of threads, so it is up to us, the more frequent forum members to help them.

@Ayase: I wouldn't even do that. Like the others, you oughta say the obligatory things, "I'm sorry your grandfather died, and if you need me, call me up whenever you feel like it," and so on, and leave it at that.

The way I deal with peoples' troubles are if they don't tell me, I won't and can't help you. It's much of an issue for the person him/herself as it is to receive and get help. Forcing things doesn't help in my opinion. (At least with the three girls that's cried to me in confession, they came to me, not the other way around.) So gunmaster999, if your girlfriend doesn't bring it up, don't force her to. As much as you want to help her, only she can come to terms with her grief. The support of others speeds up the process, that's all.

I know that the Taiwanese system of educating kids were waaay similar to what we would call child abuse today. You get a question wrong on a test, that's a whack. You got 10 questions wrong, that's 10 whacks. Shit like that. No wonder why I'm so fucking different from my parents - I'm American and they aren't, spirit-wise. That kind of system only raises these obedient children who will grow up to be "respected" adults.

Of course, I wouldn't let no teacher walk over me like that, and I'd probably put up self-defense before actually going to restrain/disable said "violent" teacher.

If I was the teacher, I'd do the same thing as previously mentioned. Almost all educational institutions worldwide face problems like these. I'd blame the parents if nothing else. I especially hate it when parents blame their child/ren's problems at school on the teachers; more often than not, they failed in raising their child/ren than the teacher's fault.

Well, classes are over, and I'm not working. I figure this was one of the ways I can contribute to FAKKU forums, even if I don't upload stuff.
