don't forget some candle, ballgag, Vibs, collar and other stuff before do that miaw miaw ^_^THAT, comes way after convincing your partner when (in my case) she is "comfortable" being tied and gagged by you. Then you can move into BDSM and things related to it. You're gonna scare someone off if you bring those more hardcore things in too early. Bondage is a new experience, and as much as people think it's sexy, it's rare for people to actually submit themselves to bondage without second doubts because after all, you lose your freedom and are the at the mercy of the person who tied you up.
I'm actually feeling pretty happy hearing this from you guys. But in the end, it's the admin that make the decision, which Jacob said no. I will however, point out some obvious truths.
Bar none the global moderators and special mods, I've noticed that the admins rarely venture into the forums themselves. So I wouldn't like to put the three admins on the same level of activity as our moderators. With this fact, I'm not insuinating that the admins aren't doing anything. Hell, they're busy with their own lives and a whole bunch of other stuff that us normal users don't see and won't ever realize. Then there are uploads, translations, maintainence, etc. etc. Our admins are rather busy, but I know they also don't have the time to look at all of the threads in the forums unless something necessary comes up, or someone notifies the admins for something. It's just how it is, but we all totally appreciate their efforts because without them, FAKKU wouldn't exist, period.
Second truth: I've also seen our moderators at work, and I totally appreciate each and everyone's effort and contribution to make the forums a better place. However, while the moderators interact in the forums on a more frequent basis than the admins, they also do not have the time to look at each and every thread in every section of the forums. Us regular users do, and so we tend to notice misplaced threads, repeat threads, etc. etc. much sooner and more frequently as we navigate the forums of his/her own interest. Because moderators aren't on 24/7 since they have their own lives to attend to, I tend to find that often the more frequent members stay on the forums for longer duration than the moderators. Our moderators are doing their jobs, and I have no doubt about that and I'm sure we're thankful for it, but it's a fact that often they don't spend much time browsing the forums as some of the more regular members. That's just how it is, but we all love our mods.
The third most obvious fact is that FAKKU is now a very popular site - I haven't looked at the member stats closely, but it's probably over 90,000 members, and who knows how many leechers out there that never register as a member in the forums. Because FAKKU is popular, there is also an increase in members posting in the forums as well, and more often than not they post something or a few somethings and then disappear. (In short, noobs) It leaves us regular users, moderators, and admins to clean up their mess because they often don't observe the forum layout, netiquette, or the rules/FAQs. It's precisely this reason that I created a plan to make the site better in regards to rules/FAQS and some other few minor things: https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=11990
Now while I don't expect my plan to be followed to the letter or to be followed at all, it's a fact that FAKKU is popular, and will inevitably attract noobs like moths to a light. As long as FAKKU is popular, we will never see an end to new members, some of them very unique and respected at FAKKU, but most of them without a drop of common sense and netiquette.
As I see it, and I'm sure others as well, this is how the situation stands. Whether to do something about it or not is ultimately up to the admins' decisions, and how they tackle such problems is also up to them. These are facts and issues in themselves, but not issues that can be solved easily, if at all. But knowing the issues is better than not knowing at all.

How ironic. I just finished watching CHANGE, a Japanese drama that features Madonna's song as the ED song. For a 50 year old, she still looks limber. My answer? No, only because of the age difference.
This is probably live-action doable. No superpowers, no crazy plots, sci-fi, ribald action and all out violence, and very easily portrayed actors. As long as they get respectable actors and a decent director, I wouldn't mind seeing this. Of course, it'd be my opinion that the Japanese did a live-action of it, but of thinking of Cowboy Bebop's plot, it's very possible for the American live-action to surpass Japan's version if they ever made one.
Yoko Takahashi's version of CAT stomps all over Megumi Hayabashira's version. Yoko Takahashi kicks total ass in general. Her music and singing is pretty unique, and reminds me of Yuki Kajiura in a way, but with lyrics and with a Jpop touch.

Fansubbers have lives you know. I have no doubt that it's the holidays that are making releases coming out slower than usual, on top of the fact that during the holidays, most if not all TV networks don't start broadcasting until after the holiday break.
It's striking a fine line between caring and annoying that's the issue.
As his best friend I try to bring up everything he might have overlooked or might have discarded because he doesn't want to think about it.
Me too. When people bring their troubles to me, I also analyze it through many angles and try to 1) rationalize it, 2) find out the missing links, and 3) create solutions and advise them. However, I don't do this unless they talk to me. Human relationships exist on a give-and-take basis for the most part. You tell me your problems, I give you my advice. But, if you don't tell me, and I try prying you for information even though it's obvious that a problem exists, you're only going to drive a troubled person further into their shell.
Ah, as for the truth, I had a maxim on my xanga... it went like this, "The truth is there neither to give pain nor comfort, but it still hurts like a mofo." Dealing with the truth and pain is how humans overcome their weaknesses and traverse forward. The truth hurts only if you are avoiding it; by embracing it, you can understand and move forward. That's how people live life - death's just another part of it. Sometimes though, I give them the truth even if they don't want to hear it; they brought it up, so they deserve the truth. Direct and honest is the way to go, and you're right, embellishing it or trying to put yourself in their shoes just doesn't work.
Understand that this comes from being a good listener. If I was not the honest person with a good ear for others, I doubt that I would be able to give advice as such.

You should always tell the truth to your friends//loved ones. Trying to conceive it or embelish it is always a mistake ( I speak from personnal experience). They want to hear the truth from you even though it might hurt them.Ah, as for the truth, I had a maxim on my xanga... it went like this, "The truth is there neither to give pain nor comfort, but it still hurts like a mofo."
