@TMS: you know what I mean now. But some users think that their join date on the forums signify the start of their life at FAKKU! - I think of it when people actually start posting actively, that's the starting point.
@lemiel: thank you for appreciating and understanding my points. It will go a long way if people decided to sit down and think about what they're going to type rather than simply post something that's half-assed for lulz or just to attack someone back.
Fakku isn't Fakku without drama.
A new meme?
Even without rep, there's still drama, and way more than it's needed. And no, if this became a meme, FAKKU! would then have really fallen under.
@Teclo: it didn't used to be that way, and rep actually was a somewhat reasonable measure of a user's rep. It was worth saving... but from what I've seen, not anymore.

@Das: I think I'll shut my mouth on who is an 07 oldfag because apparently I'm getting the impression that most people here are 08.
Where is Zeriam anyways? He seems rather busy nowadays.

for anyone named Tsurayu it's 3,000 posts, for everyone else i'm thinking about 200 posts.still thinking about it.
I think something within the 100 - 200 range would be sufficient. You have to remember that, disregarding spammers for the moment, post counts still don't tell much about post quality. There are some people with lower post counts because, for whatever reason, they're not interested in many of the threads and discussions going on. For a while, FAKKU has been up to it's knees in garbage and some people can be more discerning about where they want to post, whether its due to the amount of time available, or the quality of the thread. That's kind of why I'm not as active as I used to be.
Qtf. It also why I'm curbing my post amount in IB as well due to the ridiculous amount of drama that takes place here.
Though I would agree somewhere between 100 to 200 posts is more valid than being an Elite or Elder to participate.
@Waar: that's a pretty good incentive in my opinion. There are many sections that are just lacking in user activity, but don't make it too ridiculous like you need Elite status to join. Probably 100 posts should be fine.

Im not gonna say that i speak for all uploaders on Fakku, but i do belive i speak for the majority. We DO NOT upload content to Fakku, or in general, just to get rep, if anything that's just a bonus that's nice to get as it shows that people appreciates the hours we spend uploading games/video/doujins etc.
We do it because we like sharing our stuff with the community.
Simple as that.
I agree with this sentiment, and I need to start reuploading my stuff again.
A year and 3 months, but there were periods where I disappeared for a while... so more like 10 months.

I break FAKKU! down into three generations: 07,08, and 09. 07 users are the truest and oldest of oldfags. Problem is, there aren't many, or any if at that, left.I kindly ask that you do not mentally kill us off so easily.
Will note. There's only three oldfags I remember that are still here to my knowledge, which is Ramsus, Skyler, and you that are still actively posting. (Not counting moderators)
@mibuchiha: You see me rage at any new person here?
I remember back in middle school I was apparently woefully ignorant of terms like "masturbate" or "pencil" or "tool" and whatever word had a sexual connotation added to it. I use to curse a lot as well, but it's more toned down than before, and I use in appropriate settings. You don't curse in front of the professor or your superior.
But it's true that with each younger generation the curse words are getting used more often. Playing Left 4 Dead made me realize that when kids ages 10-14 were playing and you could tell through their girlish voices and their mic spam and cursing. It's what I attribute the degradation of society, but specifically we're entering the "Internet generation", which I think explains the increasing lack of netiquette and common sense displayed here at FAKKU! and everywhere else on the net.

Good earphones are overall are ergonomic in both size and shape, making them more convenient and handy than headphones. Also, good earphones prevent loss of volume a whole lot, and it doesn't snag your hair like headphones do.
To a certain extent, yes. But the way FAKKU! does it now, you'd think we'd all tryout for the debate club, only the arguments are getting more dumb.
Well, I'm all for this option, seeing how rep has caused countless instances of drama and issues... though the fact that it needs to be taken away from us also says something too.
As for table flipping, remember this?

What an awesome picture that is.

On the user side, I hope that all users take this thread as an indicator to shape up your act and use a little common sense and some more netiquette when posting. Us Elders and Elites should and will do our parts to be examples of how respectable posters act.
@Tsurayu: OK, you caught onto me.
Realistically speaking, I want another TB hard drive and a additional video card to boost my laptop performance for games.

Drama? Hmm, I thought having drama in Fakku is kinda normal, its the inactivity and slowness in the forums that bothers me.This is also bothering me, the inactivity of other forums.
I gained a lot of posts simply by posting in the sections that hold my interests, which is a lot. It's just that they've lost their steam somewhat and all the action takes place in Random or IB, which is sad but true.
We do need to calm down. (Hell, I need to calm down.) And we need a large dosage of common sense that I see we'll never get.
