2. Yes, I am a closet otaku who has yet to reach the upper levels of being a true otaku. I'm modern otaku if you will, and probably most of us are too.
3. For a couple of years. Junior year in high school was when it really caught on.
4. Liked looking at Webcomics, and one of them, Megatokyo, caught my interest in the manga/anime/gaming sector. I knew a friend of mine liked Love Hina, so I decided to read it - got hooked and bought the entire manga series from Barnes&Noble. Then started the path of the otaku.

6. No.
7. No age whatsoever - we're free to engage in what we like regardless of age. Well, at least it's not illegal like being a pedophile.

Saw it coming from a mile away.Congrats Matt, you deserved this.
Same here, as well as my own observations of your actions first hand.
It probably got deleted by a mod, which I agree because it was dumb in the first place.
edit: got ninja'd by KloWn.
@illumi: whoa, that's one scary Tsujoi there that you conjured up.

If you guys want to get technical and even more anal, try writing in E-prime. It does not use any of the "to be" verbs in sentences and basically it forces users from using the passive voice to the action voice. The problems do not end there either. Slang and netspeak exemplify the degradation of the English language, but stopping that seems impossible as trying to stop the ebb of time. Understand that people are lazy, and the internet provides a wall of anonmity - anybody can express anything they want because of internet privacy. I emphasize with you, Schellinkhout, but the situation can't be changed. However, by having correct syntax and grammatically correct sentences with proper spelling, you earn more respect in my eyes than others who do not.
I happened to catch the first Apocalypse Nao! vid... which makes sense in that it led to the Fapocalpyse Nao! Part 1 vid.
