Well not long ago when Jacob upgraded the site to Fakku 4.0 he changed the reputation system. It used to be, as you will know it, one rep every 24 hours. But it was changed to repping as many posts as you want and people were abusing it, even grouping up to rep each other. It's since been disabled and there hasn't been an update about it.
