At the moment I am planning to keep the "last post" issue the way it is. It is not a bug and is working as intended. I made the decision to change it and for now I am standing by it.
And yes, fixing the manga search is significantly more important.

I got the same issue using IE8, so I DL'd Chrome and it is working great. Also I am still logged on in IE8. Crazy. Edit: Also with IE8 manga was stuck on the loading screen... In chrome it works great.
