It's an open video format. All it really means is that you can stick a webm file onto any webpage and contemporary browsers will play it. Most video streaming sites use Adobe's Flash Player to play media. Webm doesn't need that to play video. Your browser (assuming you use either Chrome or Firefox) will play the media directly.

Bottom line: You can post videos in FAKKU! forums now. They can have audio in them and it beats using gifs. You could already embed YouTube videos but those are subject to YouTube's rules. Your Webm vids can have tentacles, dicks, and what have you.

And for a minor clarification, FAKKU! isn't hosting the videos. You have to upload them elsewhere and link to it inside an img tag.


I have been wondering.

Guessing the introduction of webms has something to do with HTML5, which I hear allows the use of video playback without a codec.

I feel like I'm one of the few who's never had any major problems with their gnashers.

Always hear stories about people who've had braces or problems with Wisdom teeth that required removal, but I never had any of that. Never needed braces and my Wisdom teeth came through fine (if a bit sore as you'd expect). Worst I've had was a filling.

Continued work on that Pigman farm. Got two layers of Portals up and active now and may add more in the future but right now I want to prettify it. Gonna need a lot of Stone Brick.

Time to stock up on Stone Pickaxes, tape R2 down and stand at the Cobblestone Generator for a while.

  • The grinder itself is fully finished and working now, and I've made it so I have to finish the severely-weakened Pigmen off so I get experience as well as player-killed drops.

  • Thanks to the Gold drops I was able to make some Powered Rails, and decided to build myself an underground Minecart track leading from my house to the Grinder since it was a pain in the dick to run across an unlit 1-block-wide Dirt path back and forth. Making the tunnel took longer than I'd have liked since I was working with an open body of water and Sand.

  • When I finished that I built a carrot patch in an extended part of the building, since I'd soon starve without a method of food production. Chose carrots not just for irony's sake (Pigs breed with Carrots and I'm farming Pigmen), but because they're a decent food source which can be replanted and are immediately edible without preparation (furnace or Crafting table). I also don't have to constantly make swords since I get enough Gold ones as drops.


To top it all off the whole thing is situated in a Swamp Biome, so I get the occasional Slime spawn too.

Yesterday:
Sat out in the garden for a bit. It was stifling hot out so half an hour is more than enough for me.


Also started work on my Zombie Pigman farm on Minecraft. Been planning to do one for a while since I need Gold and lots of it.

Thank fuck for the Obsidian platform in The End. Because it regenerates whenever you enter, it's an infinite source of Obsidian.

Being assaulted with a whole load of new information during an arguement like that would be enough to make anyone's mind go blank. Can you really say that he's in the wrong there?

Once you clear your head, talk things through calmly with him. The way you've worded your opening post this has been a long time coming, so now might be the time to decide where to go from here. Do you stay together and work through the issues, or do you go your seperate ways?

Funnily enough I have been introduced to quite a bit of anime through doujinshi. I don't feel like it ruins the series in any way since doujinshi contains scenarios the author imagined up. Such scenarios normally include popular pairings of characters (or a "group session")

Yesterday:

  • Someone just told me they sat next to me on the bus this morning and I didn't recognise them. Felt like such a cunt. After apologising I then tried to have a conversation to make up for it, but now they're ignoring me.

    Edit: They spoke to me in the end.


  • Learned that a friend of a friend is in hospital after being involved in a head-on collision on a motorbike with her boyfriend. Injuries aren't life threatening apparently so silver lining, but still bad enough to require surgery.



  • And now I have the shits. I've birthed 4 blended arse babies in the space of 2 hours. My arse is fucking sore.





Today:

Was speaking to someone who is obsessed with plants. I jokingly asked if they grew marijuana, but they said no "why would they kill plants" (hopefully jokingly), where they then mentioned they don't even take paracetomol. And I made the mistake of asking why they don't take paracetomol.

They got furious, told me everyone "moans" about it and went on gigantic rant about why they don't take any form of drugs because they don't want to rely on tablets. Seems they mistook my curious questioning as having a full-on go at them. Was completely overwhelmed by the reaction I got.

No matter what I said, even if it was "I see", I somehow just made things worse so I left her to it. Really cannot be fucked with that.

Get a job ASAP. Take anything as long as it pays minimum wage at the very least. If you struggle to find anything, try to do Work Experience. You won't get paid for it but it'll be much-needed experience and if you impress them enough they may offer you a job. If not, then you at least have someone to vouch for you.

Once you get a job, keep at it and impress the higher-ups to get a better position. Then you can focus on looking elsewhere.

And shop cheap.
