Without said privelages the "no post count in I.B and ChaTFaG" thing became pretty redundant.
I'd say give it a trial run, see how things go. I don't see why would encourage people to shitpost, since people have made it clear that post counts don't mean anything anyway.

Yesterday:
I saw one of my coworkers at the Indian the other week and since then I've been paranoid about saying something about work that he might have overheard and didn't like.
I can't even remember any of the conversations I had with my friends except the planned trip to Southampton and my lack of work hours. Hence the paranoia.
Today:
One of those days where I miss people I used to talk to but fell out with me for stupid reasons. After endless disappointments I've since stopped chasing after long-dead friendships.
The dumbest reasons for a fallout I've had so far:

- I jokingly criticised World of Warcraft assuming they meant that when they said "I play a REAL mmo". Turns out she was trying to get me to play Guild Wars 2 but I told her I didn't like PvP (I'm a poor loser and I get really competitive). Apparently we misunderstood each other looking back at the conversation, but nonetheless she got hissy, claimed I was "being uncivilised" and blocked me. That was 3 years ago. She was renowned for being a fucking nutcase, so just as well.
- Two were idiots who chose their boyfriends over our friendship. One of them continuously slagged their then-ex to me for 3 weeks and got back with him a day after the last time. Not spoken to either since.

Did use AnimeLeague for a time but they have this stupid thing called "Assistants", whose sole job is basically to advertise various forum sections and suggest ideas for events. But go inactive for a week and it gets revoked. If you're in their skype chat, you also get kicked. Your inbox gets spammed with monthly newsletters, despise swear words (enough to edit your post and inbox you about it) and you become a mod by posting a lot; one user on there joined in January, wracked up 5k posts by the end of February and became a mod.
Despite the faggotry I do still join in with the odd "Watch anime" events they have and chat with other users while doing so.
