Tread lightly

Went to work today. But I'm still feeling so out of it from being ill that I made schoolboy cockups on the till and had to be taken off.

• Payday came early. Got paid more than I expected to.

• Went into town and got myself a copy of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2 from CEX.

• And popped into Argos to get myself an MP3 player and just put some music on it. Going to be so much fucking cheaper than streaming music on my phone with the ListenOnRepeat app. Won't believe how infuriating it is for a song to stop the moment there's a hiccup in the connection or when usage runs out (and streaming drains it hard).

Feel much better today than I did yesterday.

Still coughing up a lung though which keeps giving me a persistant dull headache.

• Having Ebola

• A customer which was a right cow over storage boxes which weren't priced up correctly. Company changes prices - sometimes without telling us - and we get it in the neck for it. She could've gotten another one which was also reduced and saved 3 quid, or kept them both and paid an extra 50p. Her attitude about it was fucking disgusting.

In the end just took 50p off to keep it within the deal that it was advertised as and to keep the bitch happy. But I had the wonderful task of checking the price of every one of these storage boxes and repricing the ones which were reduced so as to prevent someone else hopping on the "THAT'S FALSE ADVERTISING I EXPECT A DISCOUNT" bandwagon. Having Ebola just made me all the more pissed off about it.

Had a long-needed bath. I smell lovely. Kinda needed it, I literally smelt like arse and it got to the point where other people noticed. Oops.

Remember kids, always wash if you can't be arsed to take a full-blown bath. Never put it off or procrastinate until 10 minutes before you have to leave for work. And definitely don't do it for a week.

2 things actually.


1) I have no idea what to get a guy for Secret Santa and the handin is tomorrow. Might have to go to town after work and have a look even though I'll be tired.

2) I'm being ignored by someone because I fell asleep. At 2am. Apparently I'm not a human in need of restorative sleep.

I need an MP3 player.

Streaming m00sic to and back from work saps Mobile Internet data and costs a small fortune.

1) Ciders or spirits. Though lager tends to be cheaper.

2) Happy drunk primarily but it depends on my mood. If I'm not feeling too great I'll be a quiet drunk. When I'm completely off my rocker I've been known to break down in tears and throw up. Thankfully that's only happened once and I refer to it as "the incident". Had the equivalent of 5 bottles of wine that night. It was amazing I managed to get home relatively unscathed considering I slept under a tree all night.

3) No. Usually feel a bit tired or a tad ill but never get a headache. The day after "the incident", I couldn't keep food down all day as my body rejected everything. Had to go through the day on liquids.
