I don't smoke myself but a lot of people I know who do use them tell me they're not strong enough. Personally I prefer people using them over cigarettes as I'm not keen on the smell of cigarette smoke being stuck in my clothes and hair.

I can't even get a job. I either don't hear back or get rejected. Employers where I live are really fucking picky about who they employ. Picky is an understatement. I've been turned down for Cleaning jobs. CLEANING.



At my voluntary place, I get the odd customer who comes to the till with everything they want, then while I'm in the middle of ringing up their orders suddenly decide have another long browse throughout the entire shop, holding up everyone else in the queue. I haven't been taught how to void an order so I usually have to get someone who does know to cancel it. It's infuriating.

Then there's this Jamaican woman whom everyone in the shop has to bend over backwards for because she's so particular about how she wants things done; gets us to add up her entire shop for her on a calculator and snipping off the pricetags as we're ringing up her shop, to name a couple of things.

Another Bank holiday Monday means I don't have to sign on on Monday, and the Sector Based Work Academy I got referred to I don't have to do because I've done two SBWAs already.

Went to the town for an Informal interview for another Sector-based work academy the Jobcentre put me on, only to get told that since I've done 2 already it wouldn't make sense to do a third which just covers exactly what I've done already. But, I get to do the guaranteed interview at the end anyway and they've ticked me off as "attended".

So I have a free couple of weeks and an interview to boot.

I just hope I don't get sanctioned for what is essentially getting rejected to do the course.
