It's not Hex Maniac's fault she's not popular.

Managed to see this in an early viewing thanks to being subscribed to my local cinema.

Not much to say except that it was FUCKING AWESOME and would go and see it again now that it's released to the public. One of my friends still has yet to watch it.

First of all, you're not coming across as a guy who is confident in themselves and you pretty much said that you would rather just accept any woman who would "settle" for you. Can be seen as a major turnoff.

Secondly, you might want to lower your standards a bit. You're so fixated on finding a woman who's into the same stuff you are that you're hurting your own cause. There's nothing stopping you sharing those interests with a girl once you've reeled her in and if she doesn't like the stuff you're interested in then she's not the one.


From a fellow man who isn't into gold-diggers, I'd say there's no rush to find the "perfect" woman. I didn't rush it, and I eventually found her. (just wished she lived closer. Boo.)

Start locally first. Your friends might know someone you might like, so just arrange to go out with your friends and your friends' friends. Maybe to a festival or some event, or just somewhere you like to hang out. If you do find a girl, you'll get on with her like a house on fire. If not, no loss.

As you may or may not know, WaniMagazine's been flopping their Dick-of-Power at various translation groups lately. The ones that have publically announced they're shutting down as a result are the ones that label themselves, aren't low-key and probably release often, but are so scared of any legal implications that they just accepted it, crawled into a ball and faded into obscurity.

Well, it seems all the Authors' works that have been uploaded on Fakku that Wani publishes has been blocked as a precaution - not even a Proxy can get past the block. Vanillaphiles will be saddened to learn that Homunculus is one of them. Source

• Signed on at the jobcentre and my advisor didn't even look at my jobsearches. After I made the effort of compiling a list of what I did for the week. A little annoying but awesome at the same time.

• Bought 3 boxes of Easter eggs to make up for the 3 I sneakily ate over the past week. Turns out the mother had already gone and bought some while she was at ASDA. So I get to have them to myself (besides the Mini eggs one because we ran out of those)

• I sat next to an elderly gurkha gentleman on the bus that smelt faintly of curry. It was rather pleasant.

As with anything through life, you get better at lying the more you practise it. But some have a natural talent for such things.

For the rare times I use bigger lies, I have the habit of losing interest in maintaining them. So I forget important details that pull the lie apart.


I myself only use white lies nowadays, mostly when I'm too polite to just say "no" to something and I make an excuse/illness up. If it was something my friends arranged to do, I later reveal it was a lie and we just have a giggle about it because I'm now notorious for having the shits at a moment's notice.
