Sleeping in until 2pm. Fuck I needed that.

And this was about a week ago now, but I've been promoted to Supervisor at work.

All I've eaten so far is fish and chips again.

For us 6 hours is 15, 8 hours is 30, anything over 8 is an hour. But that rarely happens. I think the last time I had an hour's break was 2 years ago when I was on Work Experience and not actually getting paid.

Consistently slow internet as the result of switching internet providers. Ridiculous buffering times, web pages taking 20 minutes to load... last night I got No Man's Sky and my PS4 told me it would've taken from 20 hours to 99+ to download update files. Switched back to old provider which is still active and it took 8 minutes.

And it's my first time opening the shop on my own tomorrow. Kinda nervous but the process is retardedly easy. A coworker let me know where the safe key is (we're having to hide it in various places since the newest guy went AWOL, hasn't gotten in contact with us and still has our door key), so that's one less thing to worry about.

Finally got the new Wifi to work after days of having issues. Turns out the default password was case-sensitive. I had tried it in caps previously but I must've kept typing it wrong. Once I got connected I immediately went into the router settings and changed the name and password.

Also I found out I can fit into 40 inch waist jeans which fits well enough to not need a belt. I normally wear 42-44 and need a belt. Now that I think about it, this took me way too long to notice.

And this was yesterday, but a foreign customer had a £260 shop. We're a discount retail store, so that's a lot of stuff. The receipt was as tall as I am, so I had my picture taken with a duplicate copy of it. I don't have the picture though or I'd post it.

I had a banging shit, felt like I dropped a tonne. Didn't even know I needed to go until I went for a piss earlier.

Similarly, people always think we're obsessed with tea.

I prefer coffee.

Didn't really eat much. Had a curry before work and chocolate and ice cream after work.

Tomorrow will involve downing energy drinks like it was my lifeblood since I'll be working until late as we have a stock count. Hoo-fucking-ray.

I often find it difficult to have a fulfilling conversation with someone. I suck at thinking of topics of conversation, when I make jokes it sounds like I'm making scathing remarks and when I hear jokes I often respond seriously, realise I've fucked up and laugh it off pathetically.

We recently changed internet providers but the Wifi refuses to work. This morning I got woken up to sort it out (I hate getting woken up) by calling their helpline, which I was told was automated. The second they patched me through to someone I panicked, tried to get someone else in the room to take it but they refused, so I panicked even more and instinctively hung up. They had the gall to get pissed at me for hanging up.
Not how I wanted to spend my morning.


Chrome disabled Backspace as a navigation tool and told me to use Alt + < instead. Accidentally backspacing while typing instead of trying to go to the previous page has never been an issue for me, so this was an annoying change. Had to install the BacktoBack extension to restore it.

Also I can't find the source for a picture from a hentai manga.
Been found nao.

That's boring though.

I've tried Google but all I'm getting is a bunch of Twitter posts, Tumblr reblogs and a single dead thread asking for sauce with no comments.

Fish and chips from the chippy. The lingering smell of grease afterwards made me feel a bit ill so I took the box downstairs.

First day off in 5 days, and so far I've had:
"Can you do this"
"Can you do that"
"Do you wanna go to Canterbury today"
"Would you like to go to ASDA to pick up this one thing we don't actually need"
"Family member wants to talk to you on the phone"

Very relaxing day so far.

Funniest ones are ones kitted out body kits, a spoiler and a larger exhaust to make the engine sound louder, but nothing to the engine itself; the only reason it goes faster is because they floor it.

• 2 readymade egg&cress sammiches from ASDA which I had on my lunch break

• Had a bit of salad when I got home but couldn't finish it, never feel hungry when I get home from work

• A bag of Minstrels my friend got me for the cinema

• And about to eat a chocolate pizza from work that'd been written off for reaching its sell-by date because I fancy chucklet

4th August
Was my first opening today, which my manager showed me the ropes for. Opening the shop is easy as fuck.
Still iffy on the computer stuff they expect me to do, was a lot to take in all at once.


4th September
Found out someone I used to speak to has become full-blown tumblrite, complete with identifying as the opposite gender and throwing about sexual harrassment accusations. She/he/it/one/thim/zhim was a bit of a twat before they devolved but I got off that train before it crashed.

Day off tomorrow, been working long hours all week. I'm fucked, and not in the good way.
