I said it before I'll say it again - I would laugh if this got locked.

I was in hysterics last time.

Got my rota for the week. I'm in 4 days, but I do 4 hours a day. Means I get a bit of a rest on the weekend.

A difficult customer. Well not so much difficult, just persistant.

She asked if we took a certain book coupon. When we said no she continuously asked "Are you sure you don't take them? This is a book shop." Fine print on the back says "participating stores", which we are not.

Went full-blown stalker mode trying to find an old friend I used to talk to in the MSN days. One of the few I didn't fall out with therefore somewhat worth trying to find.

Made progress.
By progress I mean I found a 2006 profile of theirs on WAYN.

The search continues. But not today, can't be arsed.

Someone called in sick so I got called in to cover a shift. Today was meant to be my day off. Won't have another one until Saturday and I may need to cover someone's shift because they decided to go on holiday without consulting the manager about it first. Which means potentially I will have worked once every day this week. From last Sunday to next Tuesday. That's 10 days in a row.

Guess I can't complain - I'm certainly getting the hours in so it means mo' moneyz.

• My dad wanted me to go to Cricket with him tomorrow. Initially he insisted I go and my mum went and sold me out by encouraging it, so I had no say in it. I got my revenge and roped her into coming with us as well.
  
  Thankfully however, now we're not going: it finishes by noon and it'll rain so there's no point. It wasn't exactly how I planned on spending the first day off I've had in almost a week, anyway.

• Coworker asked what I thought of being a keyholder since he and my manager will be moving to another store when it opens. The fact that he asked inflated my ego - considering there are people who have been there longer than I have.

Couple of minor annoyances by customers at work. Two tried getting my attention while I was serving at the till.

• One wanted to ask me whether we had 2015 diaries (We don't. Shoulda got them at christmas like everyone else)

• and the other was a kid roughly about young teen age who "lost" the pen he bought and vocally got the hump when I prioritised the queue of people waiting to be served over his 59p pen, only to be told by my manager that there was nothing she could do about it since he'd left the shop.

Also backache, feet ache, the usual jargon from working. Got a day off tomorrow though so win.

Because it's not locked. The title has "[Locked]" in it. Can't believe you fell for that.

I am also British but sexual stories like that were just conjecture and nobody was actually able to prove it. Like this one girl who was rumoured to fuck her brother in the school toilets.
