Coworker asked me to switch shifts with them week after next which would have included a Saturday. I obliged because I don't care what days I work as long as I work at all since I never normally make plans. Due to budget and minimum contract reasons however she wasn't allowed to switch or have that Saturday off. Apparently she now has the hump because she planned a holiday before asking for the time off. Fail.

Not working on the Saturday after next means I can go to the Charity shop, so I won't miss it 2 weeks in a row.




Also I worked an 8 hour shift today. Neither my back or my feet were in severe agony afterwards. Might have been the Paracetomol I took throughout the day since I had a fatigue-induced nap and woke up in the same pain (to a lesser extent) as when I get home normally.

My go-to meals are omelettes. Whisked eggs in a jug with a dash of milk, add salt and pepper to taste and anything else you fancy in it. Then shallow fry it and flip it when it gets solid enough to flip.

Cheesy omelettes are my favourite but it's hard to tell when the egg hardens because molten cheese looks like runny whisked egg.
