This topic will provide guidelines for all submitted designs. When you're ready, create a topic in this forum with your design idea! Designs can be humorous, serious, iconic, artsy, etc. There are no restrictions.
I recommend Googling some shirt templates and putting your design on them to include in your topic. For example, here is a topic showing our upcoming One Piece design. I recommend using SadPanda to upload your images.
Want some examples of how a shirt designs should look? Take a look at Shirtoid or what we have available on the store.
- Designs should use no more than 6 colors (we recommend 4)
- You must include actual art or samples for your ideas, not just text. Sketches on napkins are okay.
- The ideas must be your own, do not steal other peoples work
- You are allowed to collaborate with other people and work in groups
- You cannot use existing or official artwork, create your own art and design!

We get requests for new shirt designs all the time and unfortunately we're not able to come up with creative ideas fast enough to satiate the community, but I have a feeling there are people reading this that are.
So I've decided to open up our shirt design process to the community! I'll make a new forum where designs can be submitted and you can vote and discuss all of the designs. In a week or two we'll choose a winner and print it! We have the resources to get the shirts made and we'll pay the winner a substantial amount and give them some free shirts before they're available in our store. So I come to you Internet, help us design the next shirt for the FAKKU store!
Each contest will have a theme that all entries must follow. Just in time for the new movie the theme of the first contest is Neon Genesis Evangelion. Evangelion is highly regarded as one of the best anime of all time. In fact, the entire FAKKU color scheme is pulled from Asuka's color palette, making it an even more appropriate subject for our first design contest.
The last day to submit your entry is Sunday, December 16th!

Thanks for having sale I've been short on cash for a while now but wanted rave shirt so I was finally able to buy it. I wish I had more money would of bought both volumes of Velvet KissOn a side note whatever happened to the other store you started I think it was called sanshee.
Sanshee is still around making awesome stuff, I left it sometime last year and moved to Texas to work at BioWare. And since then it's been a hell of a year.
UPDATE: The Black Friday sale is officially over! Thank you everyone that purchased an item this year, you'll receive an email with your tracking info soon. Just promise to give Crazy Ben a few days to package up all of the orders, we did way more sales than we expected, so it's going to be a very very long week sending them all out :)

If only you were in Texas! Crazy Ben could always use an apprentice, but be warned he will make you stay up late watching anime and work... crazy hours.
