We had a lot of fun preparing this years April fools joke so I hope everyone enjoyed it. There are a ton of blooper images and a video of Mike and I doing the photoshoot, perhaps one day those will be posted.

And renaming the forums was all Tegumi, she deserves the credit for all of the clever names.

Fakku subs would like to expand their video subtitling efforts but could use some more help. The staff currently consists of ACF as a translator and myself doing everything else. ACF is currently busy with life so releases has slowed down. So in order to keep things coming at a decent pace we would like to recruit some new members.

We are seeking translators!
Spoiler:
We need someone who is good enough to work on their own without the help of others. We have rather high standards for hentai translators compared to other groups so we require you to past what to some could be a rather difficult test. There is no experience required. Of course you must be able to understand both English and Japanese. We will not accept Chinese or Korean to English translators.

We want the first 15mins of this video translated and the script submitted to me no later than Monday night. ACF will be gone for the next couple weeks and does not have time to grade tests after that date. That is all there is to it. Contact me on irc or leave me a PM with your submission.

Once in translators may choose their own projects and do shows at their own pace. We just prefer if you would do something that is not being subbed by another group if possible.

We are seeking encoders!

Encoders must have their own access to perfect dark, share, and winny. You will be working from a dvd or BD iso whenever possible. Must have previous work to show off. We are also seeking someone to help encode Jacob's new streaming format on the site. You can do either or both jobs. It does not matter. You are not required to do both. Contact me on irc only if you can provide this job.

We are seeking seedbox providers!

I am excited to announce that I will be a guest at Kawaii Kon this year! The convention runs from April 29th - May 1st in Honolulu, Hawaii. We'll have a booth in the dealers room and I will be giving several panels throughout the weekend.

First off, I asked this question a while ago. So I'm cheating by asking it again. But that was over 3 years ago so I think it's OK now.

What's most important to you in hentai? What makes it good?

The artwork?
The story?
The language?
The color / black and white?
The censorship?

For me it's definitely art, with language coming in a close second.

Jacob doesn't work enough, that's my only complaint. I wish he knew how to budget his time better and I wish he stopped spending all of his money on hookers and blow.

Yeah... had that problem with about 400 of the Unknowns (off the 800 we used to have and I went through). Until we either have Jacob add the ability for us to add new author names, or someone else who has such permissions does so, we're a bit screwed. :\

Because Chrome is based off of Safari/WebKit, it also has the same issue.

Looks fine in Firefox 3.6.15 (Stable) and Minefield 4.0b13pre (2011-13-17, nightly)

Also looks fine in Opera 11.01.

I've been running WebKit nightlies for a while, and It's been like this for a couple revisions, so I guess the WebKit devs might not be aware of it. Could be a regression in the WebKit. I sent in a report via the "Report Bugs" menu item, so hopefully they'll take a look and fix it. I would file a full Bugzilla bug report, but I'm not smart enough to describe exactly what part of the CSS/HTML/JS is causing it and don't want to bother them with duplicate vague bugs.

Hope they don't mind the adult ad on the bottom.

That is broken, I will try to fix it.

There are some random bugs going around where some manga will (like that one) only display a few of the pages or the cover and sample won't show up on the view manga page. If you notice any more, let me know ^_^

Notes: in legal terms, rape is defined as lack of consent or clear dissent. This means even within a relationship/marriage, if the sex is unwanted by either partner, it is still rape.
I am willing to overlook that second fact for the sheer reason that most Fakku users probably don't want to consider it "real" rape, but please note it can be.
In addition, silence or lack of verbal consent also implies rape.

I will, for now, probably only be tagging more "forceful" rape and sex acts as #forced, but keep in mind I also try to weigh my choices against the real definitions of the term.


Forced should only be used when it is entirely rape, with no consent given at any point OR in cases of mindbreak. For example this is rape (thus, forced) which becomes consensual due to mindbreak https://www.fakku.net/viewmanga.php?id=4446 It should be tagged forced.

But when it's just a few scenes of force which immediately turns into consent with a happy ending, do not use the forced tag. I want all of the tags to only be used when the tag is prominent throughout the entire manga.
