I'm all for anime getting adopted in the United States full force. A lot of people complain about kids who get into Bleach, Death Note, or whatever anime is on adult swim, but that's how it's meant to be. The intended audience for most of the shows is pretty young (which doesn't stop them from being amazing anime) so let them be wild fanboys who buy Naruto lunch boxes.

My theory; more people watching anime = more anime = awesome.

Although the dubbing on just about everything brought over is complete crap.

Due to popular demand I'm starting a thread with all of the old poll images for each MOTEMOTE battle since the beginning. You can really tell which ones I tried to make look good and which ones I didn't x_x

If you're wondering who won a particular battle, just ask.

I'll update the thread every few battles.

At the moment I have no idea. After taking it down I started optimizing a lot of other things around the site in addition to working on the image section. Turns out there are a lot of little changes that can be made to improve how certain parts of the site run.

So once I finish going through everything I will go back to fixing up the image section.

Long story short: hopefully soon.

P.S. This is the first time we have ever promoted a users post to the front page of [color=darkred]FAKKU[/color]. Considering how easy it was I think we will do it a lot more when we come across awesome posts like this.

Also, this game looks awesome. I agree that they should make one where you learn Japanese.

Hmmm these are things I neglected to think about. I was planning on it being a first come first thing where the description was just written by the first person who bothered to do it. But I can see how users would like to add their own descriptions as well. I suppose I could turn it into a review type of thing where users can write reviews for each manga if they want to and it lists those instead... but I'll need more of everyones thoughts on the matter.

And I had no intention of having the page display which users added information. I would hope users wouldn't care about it, but I can see why it's a good idea. My worry is that it would make the page look ugly to display more information like that.



I probably should have mentioned that we will not be allowing guests to edit information. There will be a reputation requirement in order to add information on the view manga page. Probably between 2 and 5. In addition there will most likely be a higher group of users who are allowed to change any of the information.

Still thinking about how I want it to work, I am still open to suggestions though.

I have said it many times but the User Uploads section of the forums is a great place to find new hentai between main page updates. I am really impressed with the dedication of some of the users to share this stuff with you. So the least I can do is link to some of the threads here on the main page, if you like anything they share give them a thank you.

I meant to mention last week, but we have taken down the image section temporarily to address server performance problems during peak hours. With it being down things have been incredibly fast, so we are really working hard on fixing the problems with it. However this has inspired me to start working on things that I have been putting off because I didn't want more people to come to the site and crash the servers. So you will start noticing things changing around the site as I work on them, first being the view manga page.

Users will be able to edit the information directly by correcting mistakes, adding artist or series information, and even writing descriptions. Now that I think about it I should also add some descriptive tags for each manga. In any case, this isn't 100% online yet but by the next update it should be. I also plan on adding a ton of features to the user profiles, so if you have ideas on things you think would be cool tell me right now. Right now.

I frequently stumble upon blogs that write little paragraphs about FAKKU and provide links. I want to encourage this, a lot. So now that things are running fast and I no longer fear more users coming to the site and crashing the servers, I am brainstorming ways to encourage users to do this and reward them for it. At the moment the only thing I can come up with is adding a link page to all of the blogs or sites that link to us. So let me know if you have any ideas on this subject as well.

And last but certainly not least... hentai!
