Although, I'm "too lazy" to upload them for you guys. Doubt you'll be interested anyway.I AM INTERESTED.
I was experimenting with something the other day, and that is probably what you saw.
But no the only ads we have on the site are the banner ads on the manga pages.

This is why I get annoyed by new members. You don't even bother to look around on the forums to see if there is a topic like this. We hare a search button you know. In the past 2 months I've seen probably 2-5 topics about this single manga which you make it easy to find if you searched for it. Any ways here you go. Non Working Manga List This was even stickied you know. :roll:It's alright :D I'll try to remember to fix this later on today.

Sorry I should have specified, I meant a way to contribute to the archives and such, I just don't really see a point to a 'personal gallery' but I'm new here so maybe I just haven't found everything yet.Sorry for digging up an old post, but I felt it needed addressing.
Perhaps I should elaborate. The 'archives' as you call them (basically, all the doujins on FAKKU) cannot be updated by your average user because of several variables. A big one is bandwidth. If we had everyone uploading around 300x10mb doujins a day... or hour for that matter, the cost would be far to high to maintain. Also, the doujin uploading process right now is far too 'hands on' for your normal user, making it dangerous to give them elevated rights. And my final big point is moderation. If all this were possible, it still would need constant moderation to find spelling mistakes in doujin names, illegal hentai and other problems incurred when letting the less intelligent users upload rubbish. I'm not calling anyone an idiot, but it probably would happen.
That said, the rep based Flash Games system is working fairly well.
I would absolutely love to turn FAKKU into a site that was almost 100% user controlled. Meaning that users can upload doujin, videos, and games straight to the site resulting in hundreds of new releases every single day.
But as Hibia says above, the cost to accomodate for that would be huge. As it stands now when we do an update each doujin gets anywhere from 1,000 - 3,000 downloads in the first day. On average we do 10 releases an update, which is 30,000 downloads. Each download is on average 10MB, which is around 300 GB a day. Letting users update straight to our server would put that in the thousands of gigabytes each day.
I have been saying this for a while now but I am planning on doing another large scale donation drive and hopefully selling shirts with that goal in mind. It would probably take around $10,000 USD for me to start things moving in that direction.
