What browser and operating system are you using? I'll try to reproduce the issue and get it fixed.

Yeah it's mainly a quality control thing, we don't want those to be representative of what the full downloads are like. We're only going to be offering the x2600 and x3200 downloads for now, the reader images are about x1800

To clarify further...

The books were not completed on December 1st, we were working on them throughout the entire month of December. Instead of making everyone wait until the book was completed (which we did for Renai Sample and PuniKano) we instead released the chapters as we finished them throughout the month (we did this for Peachy-Butt Girls, Welcome to Tokoharu Apartments, and Alluring Woman).

I prefer the chapter by chapter release because it's more in line with what users expect (daily updates) and it allows us to gather feedback over an entire release and catch any mistakes before we issue the final downloads. Additionally it's awesome to have new fap material bringing users to the site each day. If we had done the same thing with our most recent releases that we had done with Renai Sample and PuniKano, you would just be getting the books now. The chapters would have been put online for the first time today.

I've been trying to think about this in the long term, what happens when we have 5 books releasing a month? At that point we could have up to three new chapters released per day. Fully uncensored and with everything you expect from FAKKU Books. I want people to start reading them the moment they are finished, with no delay whatsoever. And thinking even further ahead, what happens if we start simulpublishing magazines? A typical issue of Kairakuten/X-Eros has 12+ chapters in it? Again I'd prefer to read the chapters as soon as humanly possible as they are finished. That said there are definitely situations where we will be releasing a book all at once, which will be the case for one of our next books (one of the unannounced titles).

The fact that we are new to this is a good thing. We get to experiment with brand new distribution methods and see what works and what doesn't. We are not held back by cumbersome platforms or other companies/retailers. We can do this however we want, or more accurately, however you want.

The fact that the downloads were late is a different issue (and again my fault). That shouldn't happen in the future, going forward we'll set exact dates where the full download will be released and we'll include it as part of the release schedule.

What version iPad do you have? We have a couple in the office for testing

We're working on bringing FAKKU Gold back and hooking it up as an actual subscription service for FAKKU. Once it launches it will have all the features you saw before plus a few more, but more importantly it will have some really awesome benefits once we finalize some things with the publishers in Japan (negotiations, negotiations, negotiations). One feature that I would like to see is that a purchase of a book results in a free month of FAKKU Gold. So for anyone keeping up with our book releases every month they will basically get FAKKU Gold for free. Thoughts?

We're working on the downloads right now and the plan is to have at least Tokoharu up by the end of today. The delay was entirely my fault, we do a few final QC passes on the whole book and mine was late due to having a lot going on the past week or two. I am the type of person that wants to do the final pass on everything we put out before it goes live, and in this situation that resulted in the delay. (This is also why we haven't announced the winners from the Onahole contest) Daiz is actually here from Finland and is working in the office with us this week, he does the encoding of the actual downloads. Additionally we'll be re-releasing the original downloads of Renai Sample and PuniKano, we made some improvements to the overall process and the quality will be going up pretty substantially.

There is no excuse for the delay, my original plan was to have the downloads out one week after December 31st and that was a week ago. All I can do is apologize and thank you for being patient, it was my fault these weren't out earlier.
