Support/Feedback
I bought a book but can't access it.
Generally it should take 2 - 3 minutes for the payment to process and the digital edition of a book to be granted to your account. Any longer than that and there is probably a problem. Send an email to store@fakku.net and include your Order ID number from the email you received from FAKKU.
How do I change my mailing address on a pre-order before it ships?
Go to your Order History on the store, click "View Order Information" for the order, and then click "Edit Shipping Address".
I found a typo in a book. How do I report it?
Use the contact form and submit it as "Report Grammar / Spelling Mistake."
I need help with something not listed in this FAQ.
The best way to get support is by emailing store@fakku.net for store related issues, or through the contact form for anything else.

Lol I am surprised nobody has the same simple "ideas" I had? While I agree it is easier to just use the digital version for this purpose, I still prefer looking at the printed version for some reason...
So you can just but some fairly heavy small things on the very edge of the pages you wanna "use" and it will stay that way. Of course you have to "decide" first which page will be the best page to use...so I usually rad the whole chapter and go back to the best one to "use" and like I said, but some items on it. Will look something like this (am I crazy for doing this? XD):

This guy right here is a professional fapper. I daresay the MacGyver of fapping. We can all do well to learn from him.

Spoiler:
has anybody ponder on the possibility of contacting a mexican printer? Laws on this material aren't as strict over there. Not to mention the cost could be the same as having them printed locally or even cheaper.
I was going to suggest this actually but I doubt Mexico right now is a place for a pretty boy like Jacob here. :P With all the cartel shit going on there and possible civil war.
But yes, as far as I know, Mexico has no laws regarding loli/shotas hentai which is one of the few good things about Mexico right now.
Also, it wouldn't be the first time an Anime company goes to Mexico to print their products. Funimation had their Blu rays/DVD with slip cover made in Mexico.
It might be actually be cheaper in Mexico considering the dollar there is way more valuable than the peso.
Come on, Jacob wouldn't need to actually GO to Mexico. At much he will need to make a few phone calls and they will be set. Mexico looks like a pretty good alternative now, and to be honest I highly doubt the cartels would interfere in this business. Just the opinion of a fellow mexican fapper :P
I was half joking about Jacob going to Mexico. x3
So now the only thing would be for Jacob to be willing to look south of the border and see if the printers there are able to match the high quality we come to expect from Fakku books, and we all be set.
Like I said in the past we're really happy with our current printer, they understand our vision perfectly and I see them as a partner. I don't think we'll be looking for a new printer anytime soon.

Mike spent a lot of time back and forth with various printers locally. We agree it'd be nice to have a good printer locally so it'd be faster, however every printer in the state on where they're located ended up declining to work with us. They were too concerned about being associated with adult material and would conflict with some of their other clients. It's unfortunate but there's not really anything we can do about it, if anything it's their loss on money. That really sucks :/
I would suggest to find one in Canada like Icarus did, but I remembered this one time when their shipment had to be sent back to the printer for some reason and once at Customs, they might've had a bit of an issue for some characters being loli/shots. :x
Don't know all the details but I hear Canada is a bit on the puritan side when it comes to Hentai.
Canada is an even worse choice, Project-H has their printer in Canada, which is why they're so strict about not having loli material, or at least very hesitant to. Lolicon is illegal by all definitions there and it would cause a lot of issues doing more controversial work through a Canadian printer.
Well that sucks, though I do understand the potential controversy around loli. I just hope that Fakku and its printer gets better at putting the books out. Renai Sample turned out great and it'd be neat to see the next ones meet the same level of quality without the baggage of working overseas. But that's probably just wishful thinking when it comes to things beyond our control or borders.
If we stick with the same printer there shouldn't be any serious snags in the future. We now know an approx time frame it takes to deal with overseas and we know how to properly prepare the colored jackets in the same fashion that Wani does now. It's just a matter of rinse and repeat at this point.
And that approximate time is usually....?
Typically it takes 2 - 3 months from when a book is complete till we have the paperback edition in our offices. In most cases we release the digital edition as soon as the book is complete and immediately send it off for printing. A good rule of thumb going forward will be to expect the paperback to start shipping 3 months after the digital edition is made available online.
This has to do with local laws, we cannot ship paperback books to countries where pornography is illegal.

One feature that I would like to see is that a purchase of a book results in a free month of FAKKU Gold. So for anyone keeping up with our book releases every month they will basically get FAKKU Gold for free. Thoughts?
Does this only apply to the Fakku branded books or any of the books you have available in the shop (like the Project H books for example). Silly question but a little curious since I plan on picking up the non-Fakku books from the shop soon.
It would only apply to FAKKU Books, we'll be removing all Project-H books from the store pretty soon.
We'll get this fixed, if you have adblock on you are supposed to be able to advance past the first page like normal.

Let's think of hentai books like hamburgers, and the new page-covering advertisements like samples of wasabi.Personally, I don't like wasabi. Of course, if stomaching a sample of wasabi earns me a hamburger, I'll do it. However, if instead you give me a hamburger with a ball of wasabi hidden inside, you're doing nothing but ruining my fucking hamburger.
"Oh oh oh, but Fakku GOLD doesn't have to deal with that! You should just-"
Yeah, no. Before you start to give me freemium-gospel, try considering how downright tragic it is that even free porn can feel P2W nowadays. As mentioned though, I can take the wasabi on the side; please just put the ad at the start of the book rather than the middle.
People kept saying "Hey you dirty pirates, you're hurting the artist, but Fakku books supports the industry!" and I understood and accepted that, but at this point I just feel like never really using this site, which isn't doing "the industry" any favors at all. Again, don't chuck advertisements into the middle of books. That's certainly not putting a dent in pirating.
We're testing out the new advertisement this week, which are designed specifically for FAKKU. The goal is to replace the existing popunders (which are pretty awful), with something a little more appropriate. We'll be listening to all feedback about it and we're already planning to move it to the front of the pages rather than randomly in the middle. That should keep the wasabi from being a surprise when you're in the middle of a delicious burger.
Regardless, if everyone hates the new type of advertisement and it's not working out we will remove it.

Is fakku even coded to run on mobile devices?Ahahaha no. Not really.
But at least on my phone if you just click the black spoiler box it will reveal what's underneath.
To clarify, this is a new type of ad built specifically for FAKKU that will hopefully replace the current popup. Any feedback to improve it is appreciated.
There is a lot of good discussion in this thread, but I'd like to get it a bit more focused.
To start, we will not be changing the policy on downloads. Download links for the entire book will be made available once all chapters have been released and not any sooner. There are many reasons for this that have already been discussed in this thread. Going forward we will announce a release date for the full download alongside the chapters and there shouldn't be delays (remember last time was my fault). This new schedule for future books is a direct result of the discussion in this thread. To reiterate, we will not be adding download links for individual chapters as they go online. Right now we release the chapters early because we want people to read them as soon as humanly possible, the whole idea is to get you something to read before the book is 100% complete. If we didn't do that, you would have to wait until the pre-order period ended before you even had the chance to read anything.
Additionally, the free digital edition with the paperback was something that originally only applied to pre-orders. But going forward it will apply to all orders even after the pre-order period has ended (we are already doing this with Renai Sample). This was a decision made based on customer feedback.
I'm in Tokyo this week working out the details of some new stuff we'll be announcing soon, so I probably won't reply in this thread till I get home.

How does this apply to orders that were already made?If someone purchased multiple books previous to this announcement will they be forced to wait, receive them when released, or have the option to pay for separate shipping?
Previous to this announcement the order will go out in two parts, and we cover the extra shipping.
