Kaimax gets it. Richard Clarke or whoever, I thought lizards are cool, I made a deck around 'em, it happened to be quite similar. That is all.
My point was that Richard is the the creator of that deck's theme. People pick up on things and can use them however they wish, whether that person is the true creator or not.
Honestly the term "true creator" irks me so much.
The problem here is somehow you're thinking that a certain person who made a similar deck somehow gets inspiration/information from another people. Everyone is still the "true creator" of his or her own deck.
What if someone across the world who never followed any tournaments nor deck recipes, made the same deck himself/herself without any sources? would you still be able to say that "he's not the "true creator". This just means both of the "True Creator" and the other "True Creator" have the same line of thought.
We're not bombing you, we're just having a discussion about "originality"
