Yes, Depositing is the fastest, but it depends again with the Pokemon you are offering. Heck, almost 70% of my dex completion is from GTS. It can literally get you anything. Trying to search will mostly net you the impossible trades:
-Legendaries and unobtainable Pokemon

When I got the Pokerus it was deposit paradaise for me, even to the point someone traded a Lvl 8 Roserade (Useless Lvl 8), just for a Pokerus.

But All I offered was usually
-The version exclusives.
-Last Stage Evo pokemons (slowking for a Grimer)
-Pokerus

I ahven't bought it yet, I planned to buy the Physical Limited Edition, but importing it right now, is just TAX hell.

So I'm planning to be it Digitally, the one who has bought it is FreeOtakuGhost, my friend who's living there, and usually does the buying for me.

My Legendary bird was Zapdos.
I traded my Sylveon for a Yveltal
I traded my Aegislash for a Moltres (Already had trained a new one)
I traded my Arcanine for a Articuno (same^)
(every one of them are "untrained")

You don't really need Shiny's, but it's way rarer than all those 3 former, so it's obvious people would like to trade with it more.

Use Super Training, it only takes at least 1 hour for a fully trained pokemon.

And Kudos for them for actually mentioning Sotsugyou, although I only found and played the 2nd one, Sotsugyou 2 ~Neo Generation~. It's a Hard game indeed.

Since I'm not planning to make both of them my Main, I just traded some of my rare ones. I traded My Rhyperior for a Gliscor, since they sale the Protector in Battle Maison, I got my Weavile by trading in Chandelure.

Got All the pokemon that I needed, some still need to evolve though. After that I've literally caught all the "currently available" pokemon. XD

I was in a Rating Battle, with the basic lvl 50 rules
My Greninja was fully trained in Speed with a base of 122
Gengar's base was 110, but after Mega, it base Speed was raised to 130 also assuming my opponent fully trained it in Speed too.
In the same turn it turned to Mega Gengar, it outspeed my Greninja, and OHKO it with a Dazzling Gleam, while my Greninja was trying to do a Dark Pulse.

Switching out has a higher priority than Mega Evolutions, because Mega goes when the pokemon starts their move. Switching out is basically the same as using items, they always goes first. So, Shadow Tag doesn't matter at that time.

The smiley face icon on your main menu at the the top. It will display yours.

Yes, Stat Changes are immediately in affect after Mega Evolving. My Greninja is faster than Gengar, but a Mega will always evolve first, and After turning into Mega Gengar, it will actually move first, because its Base speed is higher.

It's probably going to be like Idolmaster: Live 4 you, which was a "sequel" to the original. If this was true, I just hope all my data from Imas 2 can carry over, including the DLC songs.

Currently trying shiny breeding (for the first time, since This is the first pokemon game that I own) with The Masuda method trying to get a shiny Aron, Hatched 50-ish Eggs now. and I just bought Phoenix Wright. lol

Well that answers why some people wanting Hoopa and Volcanion in GTS...which I've never heard in my life, since it's gonna be some new Pokemons.

I'm honestly not surprised though, since it's obvious that they already included the game data of all 700+ pokemon in the game, but just locking them behind the system so they are currently unobtainable, Like Milotic who you fight in Le Wow's Fine Dining.
