[color=#2e1a6b]I've had a few conflicts with older people that have caused me to feel disdain towards older people (I noticed that most of these old people are from up north). However, I've also met many old people that were very wise and/or nice. So, I treat old people just like I treat anyone. I act polite, see how they act, then determine what my attitude towards them is. I don't show respect for someone because they are older, but of who they are.

From what I've heard, most countries are very respectful to the elderly. I don't know if this is because of the cultural pressure, or just the fact that their old people are more respectable than American old people

[color=#2e1a6b]I'm pretty sure that those advertisements help pay for the bandwidth you're using. When you use adblocker, the site doesn't get any revenue from advertisements.

Because of this, I prefer not to use adblocker on websites that I really like, but the Fakku ads just got worse and worse until they were just too disgusting for me to keep unblocked. I would like to support Fakku by not using adblock, so I would really prefer the ads get changed to something not so disgusting.

If people are more comfortable with rape, then the general public will have a lesser opinion of how tragic it is. This in turn would increase the probability of someone committing rape. If rape jokes increase the probability of rape, then people have at least some justification for opposing rape jokes.

Let me clarify so that you don't respond with a straw-man argument: I'm not saying that someone will be like "lol a rape joke, I guess it isn't as tragic as I thought it was... I'm gonna rape someone now because I heard that joke". What I'm saying is that a large majority of people will be just a little more likely to rape. If someone that was on the borderline of raping heard the joke, this could effect whether or not he rapes.

I don't think legal action should be taken to stop rape jokes, as I think freedom of speech extends to this level. Though, I would like to point out that freedom of speech does have limitations. For example, cussing at someone on public premises can be charged as a verbal assault. I don't have much knowledge on harassment laws, but I know there are some against business marketing, and I'm pretty sure there are some for hate-based harassment. So, freedom of speech does have a stopping point, but I think offensive jokes should be protected by freedom of speech

There's plenty of land; enough for all people (7 billion) to own about 20 KM2 of land. There's plenty of food; the U.S. government even pays farmers to grow less food. There's obviously plenty of water, and there's enough oxygen for everyone.

So, before you talk about nuclear war and which country to take out, please explain why we need to in the first place.

The only resource I'm aware of that is lacking is energy. However, I don't think this is a result of overpopulation, but the advent of technology. It seems a little hasty to think that the population should be reduced just because of a lack of energy resources.

I'm just getting into the world of visual novels, I've played 4 so far (katawa shoujo, Fate/stay night, ever17, and G-senjou no maou). I'm trying to decide whether I should play all the routes before I move on to the next VN, or just play one route, play a different game, then come back to it to finish the other routes.

In your experience, what's the best way to make the most out of a VN? play all the routes consecutively, or just play one route at a time, coming back later to finish the other routes

[color=#2e1a6b]I didn't say it won't affect society, I said it won't benefit society. As you said, it costs billions of dollars to do this research, so it does affect society. Any time scientific research is funded by society, society rightfully expects something in return. This doesn't necessarily mean that CERN will benefit society, it just means that society expects it to.

I know that other scientific discoveries have led to new technology and weapons ([size=8]which you left out because of your insults against Lishy[/h]). This however, doesn't mean that all scientific discoveries lead to new technology. To make such a claim would be logically fallacious, due to Hasty generalization.

Like I already said, I haven't seen any explanations of how specifically the discovery of the higgs boson will benefit society. It probably will lead to other discoveries which might benefit society, but the higgs boson itself doesn't seem to benefit society.

[color=#2e1a6b]Of the entire Pyromania update, my favorite patch was the buff to the quick-fix. Now medics mirror the rocket jump of their heal target. The only new weapon I like is the new sniper rifle; not because I play sniper, but because I hate being bodyshot.

I've been playing this game constantly, it's just so awesome compared to other fps. I found a server that I really like, which I spend too much time on.
I pretty much have 2 main loadouts that I use:

I can type a little faster and more accurately when I'm looking at the keyboard, but I can't do that on these races.

[color=#2e1a6b]When I go to Fakku's home page, I will see the new releases like I'm supposed to. But when I return the the home page later, these new releases are gone.

For example, I went to the homepage earlier today, and I saw "Ani + Imouto = Love? Chapter 2" as the first result. I left this tab open for a few hours. later, I refreshed the page, and that release is gone, showing "Wafukan" as the first entry. I hit refresh a few times, restarted chrome, and it still won't show the new release. I know it exists because when I go to https://www.fakku.net/newest, I can see the new release.

I'm guessing that this is a problem with google chrome trying to load a cached version of the home page? if that's the problem, is there a way to fix it?
