I had some DOM games yesterday, and i have to say that Jarvan works better on that map than i imagined.I tried to play him both on AD and on Tank build, and both were successful.

Everyone has their biases on characters, but Corki moves no different than other characters mechanically...So I don't understand your friend's statement.
Corki's W (I think) lets him jump over walls. DOM has a shit load of walls. I suppose that this makes it easy for him, in theory, to escape ganks and whatnot.
Walls mean nothing when the capture points are connected by open lanes...
