Shonen yawns, and watches the two kids kill the men in black.
"Hey, hey, I'm over here, you know."
A man in black notices him and starts to run towards him. With a flick of his wrist, his knife is instantly lodged in the man's neck. With another flick of his wrist, the knife returns to him, moving fast enough for the blood to be cleaned off. The man grabs at his throat, before choking in his own blood, and collapsing to the ground, spasming before dying.
"Gahahahaha, I'll just leave the rest to you two, you know."
"Hey, hey, I'm over here, you know."

I then remember my mother's last words to me, and I'm filled with even more regret.
"Dammit...!"
'I'm such a coward. But I want to change that. Maybe I can. Maybe this will all work out. Yea, I...I'll do it. I'll become stronger, not just so I can run away, but so I can avenge my parents. Mom, Dad, Rich, I'm sorry.'
I then depart to the shadows, leaving Cross alone.

"...I won't die for you, Rich. I like you well enough and I'll help you and all, but if the going ever gets too tough, you can be sure I'd sell you out for myself. I'm sorry."

"I'll try to help in any way I can, and in doing so, I hope I can become stronger. I guess we can be friends, but...I don't really want any of this."
I hear Cross's comment and I feel myself locking away my emotions. I hear Rich and say,
"Um, it's fine. What do you mean 'enjoy the moment'?"

I feel a little bossed around, but I say,
"Alright, sure."
I go over to the girl and check if she's still alive.
"Yea, she's still alive, but unconcious. What do you want me to do with her?"
"Alright, sure."

I've been watching Rich, Cross, Mr. Graves, and Alice in the bar for quite some time now. They looked like they were about to fight, but Mr. Graves settled it for them. I've folded twenty-seven paper cranes in the meantime while watching them. I've also been drinking a glass of orange juice. I got a few stares, but nothing I'm not already used to. My hood is up so no one recognizes me, blending in the shadows. It looks like Mr. Graves is going to go with Alice somewhere, leaving Rich with Cross. I put away my origami paper and cranes, finish my drink, and pull down my hood. I walk up to Rich and say,
"Hi Rich, do you need any help?"
"Hi Rich, do you need any help?"
