Yes, yes, and more yes. These direct collaborations and courting for official western releases fill me with joy. I feel this is just the tip of the iceberg and am bracing for more to come.

Thank you, F4U and FAKKU. My wallet may hurt but my heart won't.

I made an album of a bunch of pictures of her that I received today. So pretty!

Maybe it's just the pic but doesn't her vagina lips seem too pale to contrast against her base skin color? A little bit more light pink is needed not to blend in with the mount and outer lips.

It's really hard to photograph, but she is painted very well. There's a subtle pink blush on her inner thighs and under her eyes. Her vulva is actually also painted pink and has a subtle clear gloss paint over it as well giving it a little extra detail to it.

The last pic in that album... doesn't take a gynecologist to tell it's well done.

I want to see what and when all my past book purchases were made but on the store.fakku.net site I view only my 2016 purchases.

Am I overlooking something somewhere? I know I was able to see all my past purchases from the very first to most recent previously.

Ah, yes. Fragile & Tough is one of my favorite stories from ShindoL. It's bittersweet and touching. I hope to see that one in a release one day.

The kind of genre ShindoL does is pretty heartbreaking but at the same time I go "Why am I reading this?" *keeps reading... and other stuff.*

So for that reason I love ShindoL.

Oh come on, the ones with the handicapped girls are pretty cute.

And it's nice when you see those from time to time, don't get me wrong, though you can't deny the general approach some artists go for in a majority of their works.

I'm not familiar with Australian law and its definitions, but I'll try to sum up each book for you so you can come to your own conclusions:

Renai Sample has a flat-chested girl. The main character (MC) questions her age at one point and refers to himself as a lolicon (both in a comical fashion). According to the story, all the characters seem to be in university, and she's actually older than him.

PuniKano has a petite (demon) girl. MC refers to her as a "little girl" and "brat," but he himself seems to be in his late 20s or early 30s.

Peachy-Butt Girls has several flat-chested girls.

Welcome to Tokoharu Apartments has two flat-chested girls, but they're both in university. There's also a flashback to what seems to be one of the characters when she was in high school.

Hanafuda has a chapter with clearly underage characters, and this is probably the only book so far where this is the case. Note that this one currently only has a digital pre-order available.

Melty Gaze has a one-panel flashback with the main characters trying to have sex. Nothing explicit is shown, and the story implies that they didn't go further than some petting.

Alluring Woman and Porno Switch shouldn't have anything worth questioning.

The last time I looked at some of the other books was when I did the translation—which was months ago in some cases—so I don't have them all super fresh in mind, but none of them will be available for quite a while anyway. That being said, for NaPaTa's Love-Ridden, I don't think there's anything besides some flat-chested girls.

In general, most books have the same setting as the majority of anime and manga—i.e., high school—but with the exception of Hanafuda, I'm pretty sure none of them explicitly state that a character is underage. I wouldn't classify any of those loli.

Our books also have the following disclaimer at the end of them:
Spoiler:
All characters depicted in sexual or erotic acts in this publication are the age of majority or older, not withstanding suggestions otherwise presented within the work. All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

If you want me to have a closer look at any book you're interested in, feel free to PM me or reply here.

Kogals, Sluts, and Whatever is high school themed, has a chapter with a petite flat chested girl and a chapter with shotacon; just to chime in.

Calling this a preview is wrong, it should be called "tease."

Yeah, the book predates that chapter by over a year. It'll definitely be in Sugaishi's next book!

*hint hint* *wink wink* I suppose?

Just want to jump in again and say if you're box set is damaged at all, contact support and we'll send you a new one or fully refund your order. I don't want anyone to ever be unhappy with a FAKKU purchase.

Very happy to hear that and I did send a message about a damaged sleeve and was told that it will be a couple of months since it needs to be reprinted. That said, I think the general consensus is we love the product with the predominant feedback being more careful packaging.

If/when there will ever be another release like this I'm more than willing to pay a couple extra bucks to make sure it arrives to me in perfect shape.

Got my set in earlier today as well. The set as a whole is beautiful and even before opening the wrap you can tell how nicely textured are the books. That being said, the sleeve was stuck to the bubble wrap when I opened and started peeling right away. >.>

Fortunately, replacement covers will be made available.

I have to say though, even after seeing the preview pictures holding the box and turning over was still quite a surprise. That's "front" and "back" for you. XD

Perhaps next time when shipping out such expensive sets is to use a slightly over sized box and fill the gap with rolled up bubble wrap or slightly crumpled paper to keep the contents from shifting. That way if there are any drops/bumps the shock will be absorbed by the interior gap instead of the contents.

The digital edition has been officially released! You can now read online and download.

If anyone has issues with the physical box set, send an email to store@fakku.net or use the contact form. As always we will replace anything that is damaged.

But I want to ask, is this something you'd all like to see more of? Should we seek out more artists to work with like this, and release their doujins as box sets?

Is this something I'd like to see more of? Yes.
Seek out more artists as box sets? Absolutely!

Not necessarily as just box sets, perhaps an omnibus or bonus things like unique sleeves, covers, artwork, etc... and perhaps with lessons learned from this release.

Doing things that are more than just uncensored localizations give these releases an exclusive feel.

Make no mistake, our normal books are incredibly high quality.

Truly.

Just buy a book from either Eroscomix or Project-H and you'll see the difference immediately.

The fact that Project-H is going back and reprinting most of their Yamatogawa line (their most profitable series) with dust jackets to match Vanilla Essence, I'm sure is in no small part to compete with the quality that Fakku has demonstrated. They surely have taken notice and realize they will have to start reciprocating.

I will second this statement. I ordered both the original japanese and FAKKU's prints of Naruco Hanaharu's Shoujo Material. When directly comparing both in terms of print quality, I have to say the latter is actually better. The pages are heavier and the tone more leveled. They even went so far as to replicate the frosted transparent illustrated insert instead of using plain paper. Bravo.

I gained a lot of respect for FAKKU when I started comparing their releases to the originals. Also, let's not forget they didn't resort to the ridiculous levels of localization like mainstream publishers do. I'm sure am glad there are no 'Steves' and 'Berthas' in my prints...
