XD
How long to go, would you say?
Provided the internet doesn't screw up on me (my connection's been moody, as of late) the last round should begin within minutes.

What?
I wonder if i can get her as a teacher in Shinobi classes.
Would love for someone to do that to me o3o
Physics says it would be painful, rather.
My Paramedic course says it will result a neurological trauma to spine. Possible dislocation of lumbar vertebrae.
I'd be more worried about the upper C vertebrae given that head snap lol
Two of mine broke and I'm still here. No biggie.

You could kill off divorce time for the people that do win. This why even if someone that has a reclaim not getting 3 claims before the game even starts, that if you're letting the people who have them pay in this anyways.
The divorce time has always been a little long for the past few games anyways, and we know that people use up one when the last round starts up because of all the new animes and what not coming out when the round starts. People always want the nest best girl.
So no divorce time, or maybe seven claims? Just throwing things up in the air right now.
Also, little off topic, thanks for letting Mrticktock have his claims, Jake.
No, no- this is good.
I can't be having all the ideas, after all.

I'm not sure we had 114 different users participate. The current list probably has 200-300 waifus on it and that's with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th choices.
If anyone feels like rechecking my figures- By all means.

Unless people aren't interested.
Anycase- provided I know how to count- it's a prospective 114 contestants (each user gets to submit one of their waifus into the meelee).
I'm thinking of slicing it down to something more manageable in such a manner:
-All 114 shall be randomly paired up against each other; votes are cast, winning half move on.
-These remaining 57 shall then be split off into groups of 3; votes are cast, leaving us with 19.
-These last 19 shall be put through a kinda Round Robin.
As for prize- I'm thinking perhaps the user can get two weeks head-start on the next game or something to that effect.
Thoughts?
Two week head start may be a little over kill.
Well, a grand prize should be desirable, yeah.

Why not for the prize a perma claim for one waifu of the winners choice for two rounds?
(user can claim winning waifu undisputed for the next two rounds or even just 1 round)
We already have Reclaims for that.
Check the rules if you want to know what I'm talking about.
The candle that burns brightest-
Yeah, it's rather worrying to think that yet another great talent may succumb to the stresses and pressures that comes with fame. I know he already kinda shut himself off when people wouldn't quit nagging him about Dead Fantasy.
Whether you're a fan of his work or not, it's a terrible thing to see such a light extinguished.
Here's to hoping.

Correct, you have more than enough space.
PumpJack McGee wrote...
Lastly- the bit that confuses me- why would the default settings not be the optimal settings for smooth system performance? Is it a safety feature of sorts (perhaps saving space for system recovery)? The system typically sets virtual memory equal to the size of your RAM and maximum size three times your RAM. In your case, you have a total of 4 GB (2*2=4) and 6 GB (2*3=6), respectively. Sometimes this may not be enough. By increasing it, you designate up to 8 GB of your hard drive space to use virtual memory in the event you run out of RAM storage.
MeganeMaster wrote...
10. Type in the "Initial size:" box "6144" (This is 6 GB)11. Type in the "Maximum size:" box "12288" (This is 12 GB)
This might be a bit much to start with. Instead, use 4096 MB (4 GB) for step 10 and 8192 MB (8 GB) for step 11.
As a heads up, hard drive performance is slower than RAM performance. This means that programs that use virtual memory will not perform as fast as the RAM. This is a trade off between the two.
Welp- better to run slow than not run at all.
Thanks for the help. It's been very- well, um- helpful.

I assume you meant GB? This would be a silly thing to do anyway. Anything remotely close to that amount of memory would cost an astronomical sum of money.Yeah, I caught my mistake. Also, yeah I realize it would be silly and expensive, but I know someone who did it before.
Thanks for your insight as well. Always a good thing.
As for the problem, like ChrisBRosado123 said, the root of the problem is still not clear, but we'll start with your assumption first.
Extending Virtual Memory in Windows 7:
1. Open the "Control Panel"
2. Find the "System" icon and click on it.
3. On the left panel you should see, "Advanced system settings", click on it.
4. In the "Performance" box, click "Settings..."
5. In the "Performance Options", click the "Advanced" tab.
6. In the "Virtual memory" box, click "Change..."
7. The default should be set to "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives". Uncheck the check box.
8. Select your "C:" drive.
9. Select "Custom size"
10. Type in the "Initial size:" box "6144" (This is 6 GB)
11. Type in the "Maximum size:" box "12288" (This is 12 GB)
12. Click OK for all three windows.
13. You may need to restart your computer to finish this.
You now have predefined extended memory added using your hard drive space. Anytime you are running low on memory it will go up to using 12 GB of extended memory. You can add more if you like later on.
I find it better to have this custom than system managed, but that's just my opinion.
Alright- just wanna check something real quick.

Anyway, you could start by adjusting the virtual memory of your PC. I'm assuming it's a Windows OS? How much space does your hard drive have remaining?
Ah. Haha, I see.
Anyways, yeah- Windows 7, and 236Gigs free on the drive.
Laptop though, thought I oughter mention. My questions for adding RAM or other whatnot is most likely towards a PC I'm thinking of acquiring/building later on.

by memory the computer means your RAM, (it could also mean the the size of your page file)How much RAM do you have installed and what is the size of your page file.
Two gigs of RAM.
Haven't the slightest clue what the other thing is.
The page file is virtual memory. Let's say you use all of your two gigs of RAM, the page file then uses space from your hard drive to create virtual memory.
I also want to address a few other things.
PumpJack McGee wrote...
-RAM determines performanceThat's partially true. There are a huge number of different factors, such as: processor speed, the amount of cores (dual core, quad core, etc.) the processor has, and the hard drive.
PumpJack McGee wrote...
-If I were to somehow install an absurd amount of RAM (lessay, a terabyte), my computer would never crash again? That may not fix your problem. Most motherboards can only handle a certain amount of RAM, depending on how old your computer is. Most of the newer PC's can handle up to 256 MB, which is the most I seen so far. If you were to do any modifications to your computer, I'd recommend researching your computer's specs to find out what hardware is compatible with your motherboard.
Hunh- I thought 1Gig was the standard for some reason, with 2 not uncommmon.
Ah well.
Given the problems presented initially, though (media of various forms not playing/crashing), what do you think is most likely the problem?
I think it's the RAM simply because it usually gets sorted out if I standard tech support answer it (turn it off and on again).

Depends largely on what you plan to do with it.City-driving/commute, long distance, heavy load, recreation- and whether you're single, a big partygoer, druggie, family, where you live (climate) etc.
Given the prospected budget and mention of sports car, though- I'm gonna guess you live a little ways south.
What are your concerns, specifically?
Well my concern is that since this my first car, I don't want to buy something really expensive because I might scratch it or I might not end up liking the car for whatever reason. At the same time, I don't want to buy a cheap car because I am planning to use the car for a good while and it would be a waste to buy two cars in such a short period of time. Maybe I should just do some more research, or I am just over thinking this.
Damage is always a valid concern, as there's assholes and idiots everywhere- and then accidents happen.
70 grand is rather steep for a car- especially a first one, since you don't really know what you're going for. I'd say aim for something in the 20- mid 30 range; you're sure to find something nice that'll suit your tastes in that area.
Reliability boils down to what sort of road and weather conditions that you'll be faced with. You won't be needing 4x4 for your daily driver in areas with mild winters, for example.
Anyways, yeah- since you're not really looking for anything specific, I can't really recommend anything specific. Just keep to the lower end of your budget, avoid imports (should anything happen, you can have a hell of a time getting parts, ramping up costs), don't modify it unless you're going to go balls-out (half-assed jobs put a big dent in resale value), and bring a friend along who knows cars so they can spot any potential problems (it's always good to have somebody with know-how around for big purchases, as a rule).
Oh, and consult your folks or summat about the insurance.
