Mine never keep the water out. Not that they're real, they're like 20 euros crap stuff.
I have rain boots, but today it got so flooded, I got water up to my knees and had to stay at work, pants drenched and borrow my colleague's pair of socks. After one night of rain.
For some reason I thought Malta would have better controls for flooding.

What's currently standing as law is:
-Class/Species are claimable, but
-If there are certain specific named characters of said Class/Species, those take absolute precedence and null all others.
So lessay- Saber, from Fate/Stay Etcetera.
If there were no named Sabers other than "Class: Saber"- one could claim "Saber" and catch'em all.
But since we have Saber:Arturia, Saber Nero, and Saber of Red, those are the claimable characters. No matter what other incarnations of Saber there may have been.
Of course- there is some bend and flex to this rule, as the aforementioned Hex Maniac.
Although the Pokemon Trainer classes do have names- such as Hex Maniac Luna- it is easy to see that the games do not pretend that there is any actual distinction between these characters as individual entities.
So- while named- the Hex Maniac stands as a valid claim, and nulls all instances of named Hex Maniacs.
If there is any doubt, simply link me all relevant information to said Class/Species that you'd like to claim, and I'll review it for yea/nay.
Also- I don't remember nulling any claims for Gardevoir- quite the opposite, in fact.
