I went about 18 years without a computer.

Made that same exact claim a few games ago, yeah.

There's one or two options there in which I have no idea what they do; couldn't see any difference when I click on 'em.

I wanted to host a Mote-mote thinger during the fall to help promote it, but work kept me pretty damned busy.

With two weeks off for Christmas, perhaps I'll be able to rig something up and launch it during this Spring.

But the fucked up thread is le funny.


But- yeah- depending on how bad it is, I just might. All current claims will still keep, though.



Disappointed that people don't seem to get the rules, yet.

They're the exact same as last time- and virtually unchanged from the ones before.

And the Waifu Game has been running for- something number years now- people should get the general idea.

As for the Reclaims, those were held at rounds 4 and 5 of last game. Check the rules and ye shall see what rewards await.


Also- I'll be away most of today. You folks will have to self-police in the meantime.

I- Jack- claim Yang Xiao Long from RWBY as my forever waifu.

Even if I did make her eligible, nobody woulda got her 'cept me.

Nah, too late to be making changes.

What I had in mind for a trial run was to give the 13th person of each round NTR power.

After six hours since the round began- he'd be able to NTR a waifu. The victim has 36 hours to spot it and get their girl back.

However- the NTR does come at the cost of their total character slots.

Each Dastard would get a total of five attempts to NTR somebody. This can be used at any time until the next Game.

I'm actually not sure what to make of this. I'm leaning towards, no- you can't claim an acid trip.

HOW TO PLAY:

Claims

-Each user is allotted a minimum of three(3) characters.

-And can get an additional one for either:

Every two(2) years that the user has been part of the forums,

or

Every 500 posts,

for a maximum of five(5) total claims.

-Any established fictional character from any published work is claimable. Anime, Videogames, Comics, Manga, Hentai, Webcomics, Books, etc. If you can buy it, you can claim a character from it.

e.g. Emily the Strange, is- indeed- claimable. Even though she's naught but a mascot- she is of published and purchasable material and is an established character.

-Multiple incarnations of the same character, however, cannot be claimed separately. Timelines, alternate dimensions, cloning- whatever the cause- they all count as a singular character.

e.g. Urashibara Ruka, although appearing as both a girl and a trap, cannot be claimed twice.

-Claims are to be made by stating the full name of the character, true/alternate identity if they have one*, and the full name of the series from whence they came.

*Exception to series within their debut season.

-Side/minor characters can be claimed, provided they,

have a name

and/or

show up at least three(3) times throughout the series

e.g. Himeko Tachibana, although having only one spoken line throughout both seasons of K-ON, is a named character.

-Real people can't be claimed. That includes other users, celebrities, supermodels, and people who don't even look real.

Reclaims

-During Rounds 4 and 5, the first six(6) people in each respective round are eligible for a Reclaim during the Summer 2015 game.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN

At every game, all your claims are reset, meaning you must begin anew.

However- should you be one of the lucky few to get a Reclaim, you get to keep one of your characters; carry one over from the previous game.

-This must amount to a total of twelve(12) different users.

So, although you may be among the first six in both rounds, you cannot get two Reclaims. That Reclaim spot will instead go to the next user in line.

Rounds

The rounds shall begin on the following dates.

Round 1: Dec 20th.
Round 2: Dec 27th.
Round 3: Jan 3rd.
Round 4: Jan 17th.
Round 5: Jan 31st.

All rounds shall start around 8-9 pm. MST (GMT-7)

They begin when I announce it within the game thread itself- so keep an eye out for that.

Round 5 lasts until the next game. Summer 2015.


Divorces

-You can divorce one of your claims, should ever your affections be swayed you heartless bastard.

-After divorcing, you cannot make another claim until full four(4) days/96 hours after you've made the divorce.

-The divorced character cannot be claimed for a full two(2) days/48 hours. To give them time to pick up the SHATTERED PIECES OF THEIR BROKEN HEART.

You monster.

-Each player has a maximum of three(3) divorces per game. Philandering knave.

-Rule Check: Do not talk about Rule Check.


Important (Things that are often ignored/misunderstood)

EACH WAIFU GAME HAS THREE(3) THREADS DEDICATED TO IT; GAME, LIST, AND DISCUSSION.

-THE GAME THREAD (Yes, this one. The one you are currently reading. YOU ARE IN IT. IT SURROUNDS YOU.) IS WHERE CLAIMS AND DIVORCES ARE MADE. NOTHING ELSE. NOTHING MORE.

-THE GAME LIST THREAD IS WHERE ALL THE ALREADY CLAIMED CHARACTERS ARE LISTED. FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. SO THAT YOU MAY KNOW WHO'S ALREADY BEEN CLAIMED. SO YOU DON'T TRY TO CLAIM THEM. BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE OTHER THAN YOURSELF WHO IS NOT YOU HAS ALREADY DONE IT BEFORE YOU DID. SO DON'T TRY.

-THE GAME DISCUSSION THREAD IS WHERE ALL OTHER THINGS ABOUT THE GAME ARE POSTED. YOU DO NOT POST YOUR CLAIMS/DIVORCES IN HERE. YOU POST EVERYTHING ELSE THAT IS NOT A CLAIM/DIVORCE IN HERE.

-ALL CLAIM POSTS CANNOT BE EDITED WITHIN THE FIRST SIX(6) HOURS AFTER THE START OF A ROUND. FOR ANY REASON. ANY POSTS THAT HAVE BEEN EDITED WITHIN THAT TIME PERIOD WILL VOID THEIR CLAIMS. IF IN DOUBT, MAKE A NEW POST.
