Dragon Age: Origins had an ending so epic that there was a god damn party right after. Dragon Age 2 farted and let you know there's going to be a sequel. Fuck. That. Shit. For fucks sake, Mass Effect 2, also made by Bioware, was able to imply a sequel while ending like a boss.

The way they point out the different play styles and ways of going about a map seems to inadvertently point out how much choice you don't have. I keep seeing their videos and I sense the implication that when playing in a certain style (Stealth, Social, Hacking, or Combat), one should stick to it. Maybe it's just me.

It appears as if the health regen will not be an augmentation like it was in the first game, which is my first disappointment. My second is the annoying highlighting. Next, I dislike that I have to be shown where to go. The first game never held my hand like that. (There's also a fucking mini map on the bottom left in addition to the . Fuck this shit.) Brief me, give me some notes and/or images, and I'll be on my fucking way. I can tolerate the graphics, but the cinematic kills just look like they interrupt gameplay. I'm really hoping some augmentations just can't be gotten near the beginning of the game because having the invisibility and "see through walls" augmentations too early seems like it would just make the game a cake walk. Also, the character models look stiff when they move.
Other than those complaints, I think this is going to be fun shit. I like the hacking and gadgets. It just helps me get immersed in the game when I can work with computers. (PC version of original Deus Ex did this.) I also just love information gathering, so the e-mail shit is awesome to me. I'll be getting this fucker when it comes out, if only because I hated Invisible War so much that anything close to the original Deus Ex game would do it for me.
